We provide a venue in the village as a gathering / meeting place for many of our areas organizations, societies and clubs. (Most notably the Cricket, Horticulture, WI, Classic Motor Cycle, Model, Youth Clubs, Mother & Toddler Group, plus Community Social Club). The Social Club provides a popular venue for family celebration / anniversaries, a compact as well as large social centre for our village.

To educate and promote interest in astronomy and allied subjects, through scout groups, schools and other groups such as round tables women's institute etc. and to provide a meeting place lecture room and equipment for the use of both members and general public.

Management of Lois Weedon and Weston Village Hall providing facilities for a range of village organisations and activities including, but not limited to WI, drama club, flower club, film club, dance classes and other local organisations as well as private functions.

The charity provides and maintains the building for community use (it is used various clubs for all ages and for cultural purposes such as bellringing, Women's institute, crafts, community fayres); the building is also used as an election station.

As the largest women's organisation in the UK, we aim to offer women the best opportunity to make an impact in their communities, to influence local, national and world issues effecting the social, economic and environmental life of families and communities and to learn new and traditional skills.

Operates in Dulwich from a small hall. Activities includes Sunday Worship, weekly Bible study and prayer meetings. Other activities include feeding the elderly. We are now practising evangelising in order to win souls. Every second Sunday we encourage family and friends service were we interact and help to meet the needs of the people.

WE HOLD MONTHLY MEETINGS FOR OUR MEMBERS AND A SPEAKER IS USUALLY PROVIDED. A LITTLE FUND-RAISING IN THE FORM OF PROVIDING CREAM TEAS FOR LOCAL EVENTS AND ORGANIZATIONS.

Bingo once a week. W.I. meetings. Whist drives. School uses hall for sports lessons. Social events, plays, etc.

We enable women to take effective part in Rural Life.

We run a village hall for community use. Regular groups include W.I., yoga, line dancers, bowls, martial arts. Keep fit groups and dance classes. We are available for parties & any one off activities we endeavour to keep rental down as low as possible.

WE TRY TO RE-INFORCE INHERITED SKILLS, LEARN NEW ONES, AND PUT THEM INTO PRACTICE, SHARING THIS KNOWLEDGE WITH MEMBERS AND OTHERS, THEREBY HELPING TO IMPROVE AND DEVELOP CONDITIONS OF RURAL LIFE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES OF THE WI, WITH A LOCAL FLAVOUR. MEMBERS ARE REPRESENTED IN LOCAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, HELPING ON COMMITTEES, ATTENDING MEETINGS AND REPORTING BACK ON ISSUES WHICH MAY BE OF L

To advance education in citizenship, & other cultural subjects & in agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. Women are given the opportunity to work together to put into practice the ideals of the organisation.

We can be found in the Pyramid Centre at Bretton on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9.30pm The club has a disco run by members on the first Wednesday of every month, judo classes twice, dance classes once a month. Regular activities include Wii machine, pool table's table games and arts and craft activities. Our members enjoy occasional day trips throughout the year.

Monthly meetings for members and occasional visitors at St Johns Church Hall, Eden Park Avenue. Includes speakers providing educational /training opportunities on variety of subjects.

WI Activities

We are a branch of the Townswomen's Guild and we hold a meeting each month for our members, with a speaker and providing tea and biscuits midway through the meeting. The Townswomen's Guild is similar to the Women's Institute. We occasionally arrange an outing for the members and have a social studies section that a few members attend.
