Its concerns range from climate change to cooking, from crafts to community projects, from traditional values to new friendships.

We are a Womens Institute group under the umbrella of National Federation of WI's

to provide 11 monthly meetings per year, covering topics on education, arts crafts activities ,supporting local community,

Bringing together women of various age groups to campaign and educate in order to enhance their lives and the lives of their family and their community.The WI annual programme includes, Yoga, performing arts, choir, kitchen band,various craft activities and monthly speakers covering a vast number of subjects.

Stoke Gabriel WI is a member of the National Womens Institute. We meet monthly for organized talks, outings, and friendship. We meet regularly with other local institutes for joint activities such as Carol Services, Exhibitions of handicrafts etc. We raise money for an annual bursary to Denman College. We also raise money for Associated Countrywomen of the World.

Usual activities of a Women's Institute - education for women, craft group, monthly meetings usually involving speakers on a variety of topics. Other groups pertinent to the running of a successful W.I.

Support of members of the Institute, the local and wider community.

Members meet together for talks and various social activities. We meet with other W I s within our District and/or Federation for social activities, talks, demonstrations, and workshops connected with subjects such as home economics, arts and crafts, sports and leisure, performing arts, science, health and social welfare.

Voluntary support by our members to other local groups.
