The work of BCM involves holding children's clubs in churches, schools and homes and holding camps. The ministry also includes organising holiday clubs, taking school assemblies, playgroups, teaching and preaching engagements.

The Charity acts as a resource body providing funds to build homes for abandoned, destitute and orphaned children in India. Additionally, the Charity, also, provides funds to run and maintain the homes it builds in India.

We are a pre-school group that was opened in September 1989 to serve the needs of the local community and have since gone from strength to strength. We are a member of the Early Years Alliance and have adopted their constitution. We have approximately 20 children aged between 2 and 4 on our register.

We offer preschool activities and education for children aged 2 to 5 years. We are open 8.30-1 (breakfast club 8.30-9, preschool session 9-12 and lunch club 12-1) Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri and 8.30-4 Thurs. We also open Friday afternoons 1.30-3 for a family fun drop in session. The Gibbons Family Trust awards grants to children and young people up the age of 25 living in Devon (with preference for East Devon) and in the Isle of Thanet, Kent. Grants can be made for the education, training, recreation and general welfare of young people (but not private school fees). Stepping stones pre-school playgroup is a friendly community playgroup based in the heart of Fordingbridge at the Avonway Centre. We work with the parents/carers to provide a happy, caring environment for pre-school children. We provide a full, interesting and varied educational programme.
