THE HERITAGE AND CONSERVATION OF THE INLAND WATERWAYS RAISING FUNDS FOR RESTORATION AND PRESERVATION PROJECTS. ALSO RAISING FUNDS TO RUN CECILIA, A 70 FT NARROWBOAT THAT IS USED BY GROUPS LOOKING AFTER SPECIALS NEED, THE ELDERLY AND OTHERS TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO TAKE INTEREST IN THE HERITAGE AND CONSERVATION OF THE WATERWAYS. THE BOAT IS RUN ENTIRELY BY DONATIONS.

We act as an umbrella and bring together individuals, families and voluntary organisations in the area. We cater for children and young people, the elderly and the general public. We provide a meeting place with facilities.

Provides Human Resources and Volunteers in education and training involving both the Arts and Culture. Also provides the resources to enable Elderly and Older People to become involved with Sport and Recreation.

The Charity provides the following within the area of benefit: pastoral care, social opportunities, personal care services, and small 'pensions' for older people; grants to persons who are in hardship, need (including medical need) or distress where assistance is not available from other sources.

The objectives of Poole University of the Third Age (U3A) is the advancement of education, leisure time, and recreational activities of middle aged and older persons no longer in gainful employment, residing in Poole and the surrounding area. These objectives are achieved by the organising and running of educational and leisure courses, using rented venues and member's homes.

The Trust provides a wide and diverse range of activities for older people in Sawbridgeworth. Collecting Aid and raising funds in England to enable us to help and supply the Aid to the Ukraine. The funds are raised to carry this out. The Charity supports centres and orphanages in the Ukraine. The people we help are mainly children, disabled and elderly.

We provide Sunday Services, Bible study and prayer, door to door visiting, pastoral care and listening to anyone in need of help particularly the elderly, bereaved and disabled. Help is given by members to the Prison Play Area at Leyhill Prison; to the Mother and Baby Unit at Eastwood Park Prison; to Parenting Courses and to a Child Contact Centre at Cheltenham and at Gloucester. Some branches run mother and toddler groups in their parishes and some assist with marriage preparation courses and run lunch clubs for the elderly.

Patchway Community Centre provides a safe and welcoming place for the local and surrounding communities to meet, we have over 25 regular groups consisting of Martial Arts, Luncheon clubs for the over 55's , Pre school and Tots , Mother and toddler group, AA, Senior Citizens, Zumba Classes, Ballroom, Latin and Sequence dancing, P.H.A.B and many more.

The Community Centre offers activities to all age groups, our activities include Mother and Toddler Groups, Keep Fit, Scouts, Dance Classes, over 60's Group, Religious Meetings and Martial Arts

The charity operates principally in and around the Thornton area of Sefton in a variety of ways to help advance the Christian faith and to help people in need. Weekly activities includes: children's work, youth work, lunch clubs and drop-in for the elderly and disadvantaged, community choir and church services. The charity works closely with local schools, local churches and other agencies.

The club offers youth group activities to seniors (12-18) and juniors (8-11 Years), these activities are educational and recreational. A group of volunteers and paid staff run these groups.WA12Radio station now belongs to Newton Boys and Girls Club. A community radio used by the local community for the community. We broadcast online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

To provide sheltered accommodation for residents over 60 years old on limited income under the Almshouse Trust under the lease with Warden Housing (now Home Group) and to benefit poor members of the Salters' Company and poor people in Greater London.
