The Society's primary activity is to provide care and support to older people through the provision of residential care services at its site in Silverdale, Lancashire, plus a retirement living complex and a supported living unit, also on site. These services are open to all older people in need regardless of their mental or physical frailty and include people with dementia and end of life care.

Age UK Bolton is a local self-financing charity, established in 1947 to promote the well-being of all older people (50+) in the metropolitan borough of Bolton.We are also part of the influential national Age UK Federation, recognised as the leading provider of services to, and campaigner with and on behalf of, older people in the voluntary sector.

Provides residental facilities for the elderly. These facilities are registered with CQC and Lancashire County Council (Social Services dept)

The Sobell Foundation is a grant-making trust. The primary object of the charity is to raise funds for and make grants to Kupat Ha'ir, Israel. The objects of this charity are the relief of poverty and the relief of the aged, feeble and infirm amongst persons of the Jewish faith in any part of the world, and in particular in the town of Bnei Brak, Israel.
