We are a small community based playgroup operating from Carr Children's Centre. We offer places to both 2 and 3-4 year olds, we accept both 2 year funding and the 30hrs. Been a charity based playgroup we try and keep our fees as low as possible so that everyone can access our provision. We offer Early Talk Boost to both children and parents who require support in speech and language.

The Pre-School aims to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through a community based group.

We offer support and friendship to families experiencing difficulties with at least one child under five. We prepare volunteers who all have parenting experience to visit families in their own homes to offer support and friendship. The volunteers support will be wide and varied and will be between 1 hour - 4 hours a week.

We are a parent-led community childcare service for children aged 2-11 years. Children from our recognised deprived area can gain access to good quality safe facilities & develop their cognitive and educational skills whilst interacting with their peers and becoming independent from their parents/carers. We support families at an early stage, some of which are highly vulnerable with complex needs.

The centre helps children, mainly 2-4 yrs, who have a wide range of physical, mental, emotional and/or delayed developmental problems. The centre provides facilities and activities to encourage & assess development. Trained staff are assisted by visiting therapists and teachers who help staff & parents with childrens needs. Transport from various parts of the Borough is provided by Dudley MBC

Home-Start Newark offers a simple preventative service to families under pressure who have at least one child under 5 years old. We offer support in the home by volunteers who are all parents themselves, offering friendship,practical help and a much needed listening ear. Sensory Soft Play is a CIO aiming to relieve the needs of children and their families (primarily but not exclusively) with additional needs in Hastings and the surrounding area through the provision of multi-sensory soft play activities and the running of an online support group for parents and carers of children.
