To administer and manage the Leicester Freemen's Estate Charity for the benefit of aged needy Freemen of the City of Leicester, their widows, widowers and future generations of Freemen.

CLASS provides development support to savings groups affiliated to the Community Savers network. We support and facilitate women-led community and coproduction processes focused on poverty reduction. We support savings groups to network together and with other groups through community exchanges and dialogues, to share ideas and strategies for reducing urban poverty and inequality.

Improving women's mental health & emotional wellbeing offering: Targeted support to women affected by eg domestic abuse, long term mental ill health or inequality: Mental health courses for women eg coping with depression, managing anxiety, recovery: Counselling over a range of theraputic approaches: Drop-in sessions; Theraputic activities; Support enabling onward development & progression.

WE AIM TO EMPOWER WOMEN AND GIRLS WHO HAVE BEEN TRADITIONALLY DISENFRANCHISED FROM ACCESS TO EXISTING SERVICES, TO EFFECT POSITIVE CHANGE IN THEIR LEISURE, WORK AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS. WE DO THIS BY PROVIDING GROUP WORK WHERE WOMEN AND GIRLS CAN MEET, HAVE FUN, LEARN NEW SKILLS AND LOOK AT ISSUES RELEVANT TO THEIR LIVES, BUILDING CONFIDENCE IN A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT.

Improving the lives of children and adults in vulnerable situations such as orphans, widows & street children in Kenya by providing financial support with shelter, food, clothing, education, buildings and medical assistance where necessary within the community and orphanages. Promoting self sufficiency by helping establish small businesses within the orphanages and community.

Tanzania Development Trust supports grassroots communities in particularly under developed regions of Tanzania with access to clean water, girls education, and income generation. We work with our volunteers in Tanzania to build stronger communities in rural Tanzania.

To provide assistance and advocacy to asylum seekers and refugees in the UK, women and children subject to domestic abuse, in particular, but not exclusively to Iranians and Farsi speakers. To provide support services, to advance them in life, and assist them with the adaption and integration within a new community. To promote Persian Culture and freedom of speech, particularly for Iranian women.

Provision of almshouses accommodation and associated support to individuals who (a) have reached retiring age, (b) cannot otherwise afford to live in the City of Westminster, and (c) has lived or carried on business or employment in the City of Westminster for not less than 10 years or are the widow of a spouse of civil partner who met condition (c).

The charity aims to provide community learning programmes through language and citizenship classes, seminars and functions to advance public education. Current activities include monthly ladies seminars on various topics, distributing hampers to senior citizens and vulnerable people, providing facilities for worship and islamic education.

To advance the education of the pupils at Tiffin Girls' School by supplementing the educational provision and facilities at the school for sport, art, music, ICT and subjects of the national curriculum where the funds made available by the Education Funding Agency(EFA)for the purpose are insufficient to meet the cost of the same and by supporting the health and welfare of the pupils at the school.

Smart Works Greater Manchester offers a service to unemployed women who have a job interview pending and need support in preparing for the interview. Smart Works offers an individualised tailored service by means of personalised styling service with full free outfit for the interview which is their to keep. Plus an hour training on interview skills and techniques.

Provision of residential care for elderly people

The principal activity of the company in the year under review was that of a charity company making distributions for Jewish charitable purposes in the advancement of religion and the relief of needy persons, such as Talmudical Scholars, widows and their families.

The Hexham Youth Initiative provides a safe environment where children and young people can receive information, advice and support, develop their own projects and play a full and active part in community life. We run a youth cafe, drop-in sessions and a host of specialist sessions - for example, Duke of Edinburgh, Girls Group, Young Carers as well as providing mentoring and counselling.
