The Congregation of the Sisters of Christ, an international Religious Congregation, has two communities in England, in Sittingbourne and London. The activities of the sisters fall into three primary areas: a wide range of social and pastoral work, caring for the older sisters who have given their lives to helping others and contributing each year to support the mission of sisters overseas.

We empower women and girls to get active, and stay active, for life. Our current focus is funding and supporting organisations to empower girls aged 10-18 to try new activities at school, in their communities and at home/online to find what they love to get moving. We do not operate an open grants programme, but fund strategic partners in the UK to achieve our mission.

We work to end violence against women and girls

Advancement of the Roman Catholic religion through the religious and other charitable work of the Institute, and aiding or promoting the advancement of the education of children in accordance with the principles and doctrines of the Roman Catholic religion

Bright Futures deliver a range of project activities to young women aged 11-25 to increase their health, wellbeing and safety. We deliver projects around a range of issues including alcohol misuse, sexual health, domestic abuse, young mums, unemployment and exploitation.

1) To operate the academy for the purpose of educating and training adults and young children, both male and female on Islamic, secular and other related subjects.2) The advancement of Religious Education in accordance with the tenets of Ahle-Sunnah wal jamaat.3) To promote other charitable works

The charity's principle objective is for the benefit of women affected by issues of isolation, distress, violence and abuse and from the ethnic miniority communities in Rotherham or elsewhere.

Mount Elim Evangelical Church undertakes the following religious activities and services to the local community: - Sunday services (morning & evening)- Sunday school (during morning service)- Weekly Bible study meetings for ladies & men's groups- Weekly meeting for Bible teachings & prayer- Weekly mother and toddler group- Visiting the local community e.g. nursing homes, hospitals etc

Provision of regular public acts of worship open to members of the church and non-members;provision of sacred space for prayer and contemplation;teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups;pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved; provision of youth activities, women's group, toddlers' clubs, meals on wheels service and warm space all with a Christian ethos.

Rett syndrome is the most common cause of profound and multiple disability in females. A complex neurological condition genetic but not usually hereditary, it can occur in any family. We offer support, advocacy and advice to all those affected. We fund research to improve diagnosis, ameliarate symptoms and improve the quality of life of the thousands of people living with Rett syndrome today.

The MondoChallenge Foundation works with local communities in developing countries to provide hands-on support at grassroots level. The Foundation supports education for adults and children in Nepal, NE Indian Himalayas, Uganda and The Gambia, and livelihoods programmes, particularly in Tanzania where we help women to set up small businesses.

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY CAN BE DIVIDED INTO 3 PRINCIPAL ARES; CARING FOR MEMBERS OF THE CONGREATION; THE SOCIAL AND PASTORAL WORK OF THE SISTERS, AND THE SUPPORT OF OVERSEAS MISSIONARY WORK.

The Eaton Fund provides small grants to help women in hardship, and artists and nurses. Our grants are given to people living in the UK.

Support of the religious and other charitable work of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus. This includes providing accomodation and support for sick people, and their relatives, whilst they are receiving hospital treatment in London. In addition grants are made to support the work of the Congregation overseas in various countries, includ Malta and Kenya.

The Trust's mission is to provide much-needed sports pitches for children and young people deprived of good facilities, for women's and girls' cricket and football, and for pupils at local state schools.

Ackee provides medium to long term supportive shared and self contained accommodation to 21 single black women between the ages of 17 and 21, leaving care or otherwise vulnerable. Ackee supports the women to gain necessary skills for independent living, and offers counseling and advice on other aspects of life skills training, e.g. education, employment, budgeting etc.

The charities objectives are to assist and provide relief to any serving or former Scots Guardsmen, whether male or female, and their dependants, including but not exclusively, their spouses, partners, widows, widowers and parents (whether or not married) and children, parents or carers or similar persons who are in hardship or distress or need, whether such need is financial or otherwise.

Raising funds to provide support education in Parkside School and to support education for women and girls in countries where such support is restricted by government

We are a small and mighty UK-based NGO that lives to help our war-torn brothers and sisters around the globe. At your service: emergency humanitarian aid, crisis awareness, and education for refugees.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission UK raises funds for DAM Bangladesh for the education and training of poor people e.g. trafficked women, slum children etc. It also raises funds for relieving poverty, vocational training, water & sanitation, flood and other disasters.

Aching Arms provides comfort teddy bears to parents whose baby has died during pregnancy, birth or infancy. They gift bears to parents via maternity health professionals and befriending groups in the UK. The bears are used to discuss support available to parents. The charity also leads awareness training for health professionals and hosts a telephone befriending service for bereaved parents.
