Provision of almshouse accommodation for thirteen persons over the age of 55, with a preference for widows and single women, living in the "area of benefit" i.e. the south side of the River Thames up to a radius of 5 miles from the almshouses. Provision of grants to enable elderly people, living in the charity's area of benefit, to remain in their own homes.

Providing Islamic services to the Muslims of Crawley & surrounding areas, promoting welfare and unity. Ackee provides medium to long term supportive shared and self contained accommodation to 21 single black women between the ages of 17 and 21, leaving care or otherwise vulnerable. The Guide Association, as part of the worldwide Movement, enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

The charity provides religious needs of Sikh community. We arrange Sikh collective worship, Sikh weddings, celebrate Sikh festivals. We also cater for individual family's functions i.e. birthdays and family group meetings. We provide educational facilities. We provide advice and information about social and legal matters. We provide special facilities for women groups and old people.

As part of Girlguiding UK, West Mercia Guides purpose is to enable girls and young women develop their potential and to make a difference to the world.

Also maintains a building used by Dartmouth pre-school, Dartmouth Brownies and Dartmouth Players (amateur dramatics).

A sister was deputy at a school, retired Sept 10 but helping there voluntarily. Help is given to parishes. Rooms are available to organisations that provide services to the general public and for religious meetings and discussion groups.Accommodation to students studying provides income to the charity. This is free for foreign priests. Worship open to the public each day in the chapel.
