The 1st Britwell Scout Group provides a range of activities in line with the Scout Association's training programme. Our membership is boys and girls between the ages of 6 to 14 years.These activities are varied, some examples are: camping, hiking, water and team building.

Manton Pre-school provides education for children from the term prior to their third birthday to 5 year olds following the Early Years Foundation Stage, under the following headings:CommunicationLanguage and LiteracyCreative DevelopmentKnowledge and Understanding of the WorldMathematicsPersonal, Social and Emotional DevelopmentPhysical Development.

Village C of E School, School Club,Summer Holiday Club, Village Hall, Church Hall, Function Room,Local Government Voting, Parish Council Meetings,Church Meetings, Night School, Community Dancing,Community Cinema, Cycle events.Village hall is available to hire for parties, meetings, play groups, Social Functions, Wedding Receptions.Community events. Fundraising Events. Social Club Room.

The hall is regularly used by Sweetpeas playgroup, Yeoford Primary School, Yeoford Yarns (a sewing group), an art class and fitness classes. The hall hosts regular fundraising events for community projects, including Beer Festivals, Art Exhibitions, Christmas Fairs etc, and is also available for hire by the community for parties, rehearsal space, or other events.

We are a tenants & residents association, we provide activities and excursions through the year. Monday nights - console kidz, young children attend & play games for ages 4 yrs to 13 yrs. Wednesday nights - bingo, a wide range of people attend and play bingo, buy raffle tickets & have a drink & chat.

Community centre providing opportunities for local residents/general public to meet, book rooms for activities or join one of the many sections and user groups. Presently these include camera club, nursery, karate club, yoga group, pilates group, mother & toddler sessions and a youth drama group.

Raising funds for Courthouse Junior School and Alwyn Infant and Nursery School through a series of fundraising events and raffles.

Overall management of the Village Hall which is then made available to rent on an occassional or regular basis to a variety of local charities, playgroups, clubs, associations and private individuals.

The hall is used by various organisations in Goonhavern & District. It is used by all ages from children to senior citizens for Gardening Club,Old Cornwall Society,,Guides,Brownies, Cubs,Beavers,Playgroup,Parties and meetings.

The memorial hall is used by the following - Classes for Yoga; Fitness and Wellbeing; Boxing/kickboxing. Tennis coaching; Football Club; Cyclecross; Celebration/birthday parties;Weddings; Warm spaces; Residents meetings; Baby and Toddler Group; Community Council Meetings; Voting; Film company; County Council Housing Association; Bouncy Castle Company; Xmas/Tabletop Fairs; Fund raising concerts.

Riverside Community Centre hosts various user groups, including Parkstone Kids Club - childcare before & after school. Parkstone Pre-school - pre-school childcare. Yoga. Riverside Brownies.
