Plants and Minds uses horticulture to offer realistic supportive meaningful pressure-free work rehabilitation to adults with severe and enduring mental illness. We aim to restore confidence, self-esteem and dignity while providing security and stability by having no time limit to attendance.We endeavour to reduce stigma and discrimination by increasing public awareness of mental illness

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE'S ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED ON SUNDAYS & WEEK DAYS GEARED TO THEIR PARTICULAR AGE GROUPS. A GROUP FOR CARERS AND TODDLERS IS HELD. SENIOR ADULTS ALSO HAVE WEEKLY MEETINGS.

Our charity was set up by local residents in September 1977; the aim of the charity is to enhance the lives of local residents. The charity owns and runs Firthmoor Community Centre which houses several services, including a Nursery, Cafe, Playgroup, Games Area and a Dental Clinic. The charity also supports services such as a credit union, citizens advice, childcare services and a local food bank

Dandelion Day Nursery and Kids Club provides childcare provision from birth to 13 for the local community both service and civilian. The Parish provides Christian services of worship at its two churches for the benefit of both members and visitors. It encourages spiritual growth by guidance and discussion in small groups. It also provides high quality child-care in the Pre-school and Out-of-school Club.

Brunswick offers purposeful work and training to people with learning difficulties. They have the chance to work in horticulture, cooking and crafts, and are supported to produce goods which are sold on site.
