YMCA Derbyshire is an organisation that aims to provide quality services for the benefit of homeless people & people at risk of social or educational exclusion. We provide supported accommodation, vocational training, information, advice & guidance & as a childcare provider offer out of school childcare provision,integrated playschemes for special educational needs and mainstream children.

The Charity is responsible for promoting and assisting education in the Diocese consistent with the faith and practice of the Church of England;religious education and worship in schools; and the open admissions policy of the Diocese of Oxford. It also exists to advise governors and promote co-operation between those concerned with education in the Diocese.

Generating income from property and other investments in order to make grants to various registered charities including but not exclusively in the fields of medicine, education and welfare.

The main areas of charitable activity are in campaigning and education of the public in the principles, practice and effects of responsible and ethical investment.

The Charity will engage in grant-making to charities which it will identify. The Charity will not seek or accept applications for funding from other charities.

Our activities include the following service provision to our students; representation, welfare, sporting clubs & cultural societies, volunteering, skills development,campaigning, social activities and entertainments, media, fundraising, employment, accomodation, safety transport, market days, sustainability initiatives, equality and liberation initiatives, employability.

As a professional membership body, CIEH sets standards for our practitioners. We support continuing professional development and deliver professional and vocational qualifications which protect consumers. As a campaigning organisation we work to deliver our vision of safer, cleaner and healthier environments for the benefit of all.

TO CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE THE IMPROVEMENT AND PROTECTION OF THE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE

We offer free and confidential and independent advice and information to clients in all areas of social welfare law, including benefits, debt, housing, employment and consumer issues.We campaign for change, attempting to tackle some of the underlying issues which give rise to these issues. We collate and use evidence from our clients to influence policy makers, both locally and nationally.

Keele SU operates a number of activities and services, all for the benefit of its members.Activities include; community representation and advocacy to influence the student experience, individual representation and advocacy to support students facing difficulties, community-based student activities, volunteering and sports facilitation, retail, catering, printing and entertainments.

Provision of advice, information and support to people resident in the area of benefit on their legal rights, to help them deal with legal financial and other problems. Our main areas of work concern problems with debt, welfare benefits, housing rights, immigration and asylum issues, and employment rights. We also seek to influence the development of policies and services.

Provides refuge accommodation, advice, advocacy, and practical support for women and their children experiencing domestic abuse.

We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives. We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.

To improve the quality of life of people suffering disadvantage and discrimination. We aim to achieve this through making grants to strengthen voluntary sector organisations which serve them directly or indirectly and by the added value we bring to this.

Grant making

Preservation and protection and improvement of mental health and well-being amongst men in the UK, particularly focusing on the prevention of suicide by offering without limitation the use of support services, counselling, advice and/or information about the prevention of suicide, depression,and/or crisis management.

We investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Our focus is the protection of climate, forests, ocean and wildlife. The aim of the charity is the provision of education at Davenies School, Beaconsfield. The school's policy is to attain high academic standards, whilst encouraging the boys to benefit from a wide range of curricular and extra-curricular activities. The aim is to prepare the boys fully for the senior school of their choice whether in the independent or state sector.

IAM RoadSmart provides for the public an advanced driving and motorcycle test, and through its research into many aspects of road safety, seeks to become a significant influencer of road safety policy and practice.
