Our objectives are to help prevent glaucoma blindness and support people living with glaucoma. We:Provide information, advice and support through a telephone helpline and online forum.Publish a wide range of booklets and leaflets and distribute regular newsletters.Fund glaucoma researchRun support groups, conferences & awareness raising activities for patients and professionals.

WE PROVIDE SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS. DISABILITIES COULD RANGE FROM MILD TO PROFOUND AND MULTIPLE.PROJECTS ARE VARIED AND INCLUDE ADVOCACY,ASIAN OUTREACH SERVICES FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE, A RESOURCE AND ACTIVITY CENTER, FAMILY SUPPORT, LEISURE, SOCIAL AND SPORTS CLUBS. WE WELCOME MEMBERSHIP, VOLUNTEERS, DONATIONS, SPONSORSHIP AND GENERAL SUPPORT.

Making grants to various organisations for general charitable purposes

Provision of grants to nominated charities as directed by the will of Katherine Martin. The Structure, Governance & Management of the Trust is set out in the Trust Annual Report & Financial Statements, which also disclose its financial performance and position. Trust activities are funded from investment income derived from pooled investment portfolios and its shareholding in unlisted investments.

Greenbelt is an independent Christian charity working to express love, creativity and justice through the arts and contemporary culture in the light of the Christian gospel.Greenbelt holds an annual festival celebrating arts, faith and justice. Donations are distributed through small and medium-size grants to initiatives, inspired by faith, that liberate creativity in the face of injustice.

BDA currently provides various services: (1) Deaf Children, Youth and Families; (2) Deaf Community Advocacy; (3) Deaf Community Development and Empowerment; (4) Deaf Heritage Films; (5) Deaf International; (6) Media, Communications and Membership; (7) Policy, Research and Campaigns; and (8) British Sign Language. Community offices based in London, Belfast, Cardiff, Derby and Glasgow.

Makes grants to other institutions

We deliver initiatives in support of the creative industries and wider cultural activities in Cornwall. These include a rural touring scheme for communities in Cornwall; a community arts investment programme; education, skills development and training; workspaces for practitioners; information, advice and guidance; and campaigning with partners across Europe to support culture in rural areas.

Promoting efficiency and welfare of all ranks serving in the Royal Artillery, incl TA. Relief and assistance to past and present members of the Royal Artillery and their dependants who are in need Grants to soldiers and officers, serving or retired who are in need.

The Charity offers a range of services including: supporting unemployed local people into employment by providing advice and guidance, facilitating and providing work experience and training; business development support, including training, advice and guidance to local people considering self-employment and to community and voluntary groups looking to develop social enterprises.

Funds are raised via donations and saved for grants to Israel and the UK for educational purposes.

To give effect to the objects of the charity as expressed by the founders wishes. The charity's over arching aim is the relief of poverty. As a grant making charity the trustees support individuals and communities in great need in Suffolk, the UK and the Third World. In addition, the trustees support specific causes identified by the founder.

Family Rights Group is the charity in England and Wales that advises families whose children are involved with or need children's services because of welfare needs or concerns. We promote policies and practices that help children to be raised safely within their families, and campaign for effective support to assist family and friends carers who are raising children that cannot live at home

The provision of legal advice and representation to people seeking asylum in the UK, lobbying and campaigning with the aim of achieving a fairer asylum process in the UK and advancing public and understanding of the position of asylum seekers and refugees in the UK.

The Society's principal activities are to support people with a visual impairment by providing community care and rehabilitation, residential care and housing, talking newspapers and general advice and guidance.
