THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUFFERED BEREAVEMENT THROUGH A NATIONWIDE NETWORK OF TRAINED BEREAVEMENT VOLUNTEERS AND THROUGH ITS NATIONAL HELPLINE.WORK DESIGNED TO RAISE THE AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS OF BEREAVED PEOPLE AND TO PROMOTE THEIR INTERESTS.

The Charity is a general grant making Trust

The purpose of the charity is to ensure that the views, wishes and feelings of those using health and social care services are promoted to service providers; and to provide advocacy support to individuals or groups who wish to resolve specific issues. The charity also provides related services, including training, consultation, and client-group specific services.

i) The advancement of the contemporary visual arts and the education of the public in the understanding and appreciation of the arts in general;ii) The provision and maintenance of the BALTIC Flour Mills buildings in Gateshead as a base for the production and presentation of contemporary visual arts and as a fully accessible centre in which the public may explore, understand and enjoy them.

Land-owning educational grant-making charitable company, making grants throughout the United Kingdom. Grants are awarded for projects that support young people in Outdoor Learning, environmental engagement, connection to nature and Learning from the Land. The Trust also makes use of its landed estates as a direct resource for educational visits and associated activity.

Ark UK Programmes has the principal objective of advancing the education of the public. It acts as a 'seed-bed' for creating and testing new Ark programmes and supporting other ventures to launch and scale.

To promote the permanent preservation for the benefit of the public, buildings monuments or other edifices or structures in the UK. To protect and conserve the character and heritage of the cities towns and villages in and around which such buildings monuments or other edifices of structures exist. AN INDEPENDENT THINK TANK WORKING WITH LEADERS IN GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS, MEDIA AND ACADEMIA TO DEVELOP MULTI-COUNTRY RESPONSES TO THE MAJOR SECURITY AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC CHALLENGES OF OUR TIME AND TO ENHANCE EUROPE'S CAPACITY TO ACT EFFECTIVELY IN THE GLOBAL ARENA. Advancement and promotion of geographical knowledge and understanding of the world, locally and globally: public engagement; education and outdoor learning; research; grants for research, expeditions, innovative teaching; information services and resources; policy, advocacy and media; active membership.

The Cambridgeshire Community Foundation awards grants to local charitable causes. Individuals, families, local companies and public bodies make this possible by supporting charitable funds held by CCF.

The charity provides a 10 bedded hospice inpatient unit, domiciliary care, hospice at home service, day care hospice, Lymphoedema clinic and family support.The charity runs 6 charity shops.

The Tudor Trust is an independent grant-making charitable trust. We fund projects across the UK, aiming to support work which addresses the social, emotional and financial needs of people at the margins of Society. We do not focus on specific themes or programmes.

MERCY IN ACTION WORKS IN THE PHILIPPINES IN CEBU AND MINDANAO AMONGST THE POOREST OF THE POOR. WE CURRENTLY SEND AROUND 400 CHILDREN TO SCHOOL AND COLLEGE & RUN 3 CHILDREN'S HOMES. WE HAVE FEEDING PROGRAMMES AND A DROP IN CENTRE FOR STREET CHILDREN, BUILD HOMES FOR DESTITUTE FAMILIES AND PROVIDE GRANTS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. 'FEEDING THE HUNGRY TODAY; EQUIPPING THEM FOR TOMORROW'.
