TO CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE THE IMPROVEMENT AND PROTECTION OF THE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE

i) The advancement of the contemporary visual arts and the education of the public in the understanding and appreciation of the arts in general;ii) The provision and maintenance of the BALTIC Flour Mills buildings in Gateshead as a base for the production and presentation of contemporary visual arts and as a fully accessible centre in which the public may explore, understand and enjoy them.

The SEA LIFE TRUST develops, delivers and supports projects and campaigns and operates marine wildlife sanctuaries to help make a measurable difference to the protection of marine and freshwater wildlife and habitats across the world. Our main focus areas are: campaigning for freshwater & marine protection, reducing plastic pollution & overfishing in our seas and marine rescue & rehabilitation.

To improve the quality of life of people suffering disadvantage and discrimination. We aim to achieve this through making grants to strengthen voluntary sector organisations which serve them directly or indirectly and by the added value we bring to this.

Sports, arts, cultural, departmental, recreational, media, volunteering and diversity & support student groups; representation both academic and in areas such as accommodation, campus facilities, town/gown relations and national issues; support in housing, academic and welfare advice, peer mentoring and peer assisted learning; training, development and entrepreneurial opportunities and a job shop.

GrantScape's main activity is grant-making from donations received from landfill operators under the Landfill Communities Fund. Provision of advice, information and support to people resident in the area of benefit on their legal rights, to help them deal with legal financial and other problems. Our main areas of work concern problems with debt, welfare benefits, housing rights, immigration and asylum issues, and employment rights. We also seek to influence the development of policies and services.

Keele SU operates a number of activities and services, all for the benefit of its members.Activities include; community representation and advocacy to influence the student experience, individual representation and advocacy to support students facing difficulties, community-based student activities, volunteering and sports facilitation, retail, catering, printing and entertainments.

Land-owning educational grant-making charitable company, making grants throughout the United Kingdom. Ark UK Programmes has the principal objective of advancing the education of the public. It acts as a 'seed-bed' for creating and testing new Ark programmes and supporting other ventures to launch and scale.

The charity provides a 10 bedded hospice inpatient unit, domiciliary care, hospice at home service, day care hospice, Lymphoedema clinic and family support.The charity runs 6 charity shops.

The Charity provides sheltered flats for older people in Gloucestershire as well as a Residential Home and Nursing Home. The Charity also offers day care services for those living with dementia in the wider community as well as a weekly social club.The Trust also administers a "Relief in Need" grant making branch of the charity and the former Gloucester District Nursing Charity.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE RESEARCH, SPECIALISED TASK FORCES, HIGH LEVEL POLICY BRIEFINGS AND CROSS BORDER NETWORKS.
