The Africa College Foundation (UK) works to advance and promote learning and education at or in connection with the Maharishi Invincibility Institute (MII) in South Africa and elsewhere through the provision of grants of financial assistance. Our activities include fundraising, advocacy and research, as well as technical support to MII.

Grant making for charitable purposes in the UK and other countries for the relief of those in need; for the prevention or relief of poverty; for the relief of sickness; and for the promotion of social inclusion.

We provide a daily (mon-Fri) drop-in service for information, support and guidance many issues, including benefits, debt, relationships, health and wellbeing, housing, etc. We provide home visits and advocacy as needed. We offer a community scribe service, job-search help, informal basic skills tuitioin and study support. We encourage volunteering and progression to mainstream work/education.

Providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

Clothing Solutions provide a unique bespoke garment making, alterations and adaptations service to physical disabled people and those with learning difficulties, to improve their life choices and independence. We also provide garments to other people such as the elderly and infirm that are not registered disabled but require help. We also offer an advice and information service.

The Warwickshire Beekeepers Association was founded in 1879 and is affiliated to the British Beekeepers Association. Our aim is to advance the education of the public and beekeepers in the craft of beekeeping and promote the importance of bees in the environment. We operate locally through 8 branches. The charity provides a place of worship and study by maintaining and managing a synagogue, and assists poor people and those in ill health in paying for basic necessities, by making grants to charitable organisations and individuals.

The Well owns, operates and maintains premises of the same name at 74 - 78 Frodingham Road, Scunthorpe DN15 7JW with the purpose of executing its charitable objects.

1. The support of Orthodox Jewish houses of worship & educational institutions in the UK and abroad2. The relief of poverty by providing grants to:A. Orthodox Jewish individuals in need in the UK and abroad,orB. other Orthodox Jewish institutions working to prevent or relieve poverty in the UK and abroad

A Christian charity. We provide funds for adults/children overseas who are suffering in poverty. We provide space for groups who help adults or children. For example we have a parent and toddler group for the public. We also provide space for Al-Anon for families who suffer through alcoholism. We provide counselling for bereavement,marriage or other traumatic events affecting people deleteriously.

The trust applies income for general charitable purposes at the discretion of the trustees, awarding grants to other charities for people with disabilities, the elderly/ old people, youth, medical research and environmental heritage.

Peer Advice Services UK (PAS UK) is a focus-led Charitable Incorporated Organisation providing Peer Advice and Advocacy Services for people affected by disability or the challenges of life. PAS UK support focuses on the individual and their immediate family along with their friends. PAS UK works within the Armed Forces and NHS environments. We support people throughout the United Kingdom .

To carry out Scouting activities in accordance with Scout Association policy

For the public benefit for the prevention or relief of poverty, advocacy of child welfare and improvement of education for residents of Tanzania. Specifically by working with our sister organisation Pamoja Leo to provide funding for their projects to enhance the education of children and young adults and to provide welfare support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children.

To advance the education and welfare of poor children in Bangladesh by making grants of money or by providing or paying for items, services or facilities.

The principal objects of the Charity are to provide funds for:1) the preservation and repair of the College of Arms building2) the establishment and maintenance of a Museum of Heraldry for the benefit of the public3) such other legally charitable purposes in connection with the College of Arms as the trustees and the College may determine from time-to-time

For music lessons in all styles by qualified experienced teachers on all instruments, singing and music theory. All ages , abilities welcome. Instrument hire, music library, music shop, practice rooms available. Music appreciation classes are held at the school which is also the public examination centre for practical music exams.

Grant making charity

East Grinstead and District Lions Club (CIO) operates in the East Grinstead and surrounding areas in Sussex, Surrey and Kent, raising funds though activities by organising local events such as our May fair, Donkey Derby, Swim Night and selling secondhand books at the local Railway stations. These funds are then used to mainly provide grants for the benefit of those in need in the local community.

This is a grant giving charity based in Oxfordshire so applications from Oxfordshire are particularly welcome.The trustees support the arts and heritage , education , the environment , health and social or economic disadvatage. The trustees do not fund charities registered outside the UK, expeditions, individuals , political parties , the promotion of religion or animal charities.

THE MAIN OBJECT OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF YOGA AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY THROUGH EDUCATION, INCLUDING YOGA, IN THE UK AND SRI LANKA TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO BECOME SELF SUPPORTING.
