London Higher is the place where universities and higher education colleges come together to identify the opportunities and address the challenges of working in London.We are a not-for-profit charity and company limited by guarantee established in 1999 by over forty higher education providers. We run four core collaborative programmes, each with its own stream of research and advocacy activities.

Training Centre for adults with learning disabilities; Operating a cafe and gift shop (open to the public); creating bespoke crafts, gifts and home decor. Students also receive training in basic literacy, housekeeping skills (eg cooking, laundry) and go outside the centre to experience public transport, shopping and social activities.

Charitable aims are the advancement of knowledge, education and interest in OR, through its publications, conferences, training, accreditation scheme, awards, regional societies, and special interest groups. Its 'Science of Better' campaign is specifically designed to promote wider knowledge of OR and how it can be used in the public and private sectors alike.

To advance the education of the public by providing an educational establishment to further the study of and research into the historical, economic, geographic and cultural issues relating to and affecting the country of Lebanon and the Lebanese people.

The Charity's object and its principal activity continues to be that of alleviating the conditions of life among people who are caring or have cared for people with learning disabilities at home, and who are in neccessitious circumstances. The Charity works directly with and for people with learning disabilities and continues to advance public education concerning caring for carers and the public.

Young Women's Trust champions young women aged 18 to 30 on low or no pay. Our purpose is to create a more equal world of work and raise young women's incomes. We provide practical help so young women can get ahead, carry out research to shine a spotlight on the realities of their lives and bring together a network of thousands of young women to support each other and campaign for equality.

The Association promotes communication for social change. It believes that communication is a basic human right that define's people's common humanity ,strengthens cultures,enables participation ,creates community & challenges tyranny & oppression. It works through advocacy,education,training and the creation & sharing of knowledge.Its worldwide membership works with faithbased & secular partners

Provides a specialist community centre, practical and emotional support, information, outreach and advice to people with hearing loss, of all faiths or none. Services include day centre, social/cultural activities and support/advocacy services for Deaf/Deafblind British Sign Language users, Deaf Awareness training/support for care homes, technology room, lipreading classes and family services

To support adult and young carers residing in Bristol and South Gloucestershire who are, or werecarrying out a caring role for persons who are disabled, elderly or ill, by the provision of practical help,advice, assistance, service, advocacy and support.

Provision of grants for artistic, cultural and educational activities

Hampton Fuel Allotment Charity supports families and individuals on low income with a grant to help with the costs of gas and electricity; and supports organisations to provide services and activities for those in need through grantmaking.

The Law Centre provides legal advice and advocacy service for unwaged and low paid people and for people experiencing unlawful discrimination

Specialist service for female victims of domestic violence 16 years and over.We provide Advocacy, Support, Sanctuary Scheme, Counselling, Legal Advice, Training, Women's groups.

The objectives of the RIC is to advance the education of the public through the study and knowledge of literature, natural sciences, archaeology, history, ethnology, geology and the fine and applied arts. The RIC provides access to it's comprehensive collection and holds regular exhibitions. The RIC provides education activities through it's schools and family workshops.

Promote community safety in Hampshire by: Operating the Bobby Scheme providing free home security/safety surveys to the elderly & vulnerable including victims of crime. When appropriate practical intervention through fitting of security & safety devices Giving grants to schemes towards reducing crime & the risk of fire in homesOperate Driver Training to reduce death and injuries on our roads

The principal Activities of the company is the Recruitment of School Governors.

The principal activity and objectives of the Trust are to provide support for Christian ministry in London.This is carried out by providing accommodation for Church ministers and workers, and by grant making appropriate to its charitable aims.

Wheatsheaf Trust undertakes a range of practical interventions to promote social inclusion, economic development and lifelong learning for the communities in Southampton City and the region. These activities include providing Information, Advice and Guidance around employment and training, supported work placements and work-related learning, specialised diversity training, research and consultancy
