Successful applicants are advised within two weeks.

The current activity of the charity is to support Leatherhead Hospital by the donation of equipment as required, also to provide funds to preserve and enhance the fabric of the buildings in which the hospital is housed.To provide funds to enable hospital staff to attend medical conferences etc.

Trustees' policy is to aid improvement of welfare to the elderly & in particular to support hospices for the elderly & their day centres, including assisting with capital projects from the Trust's capital. Trustees' interest is in smaller hospices where information about their work is already known to them or easily accessible & where grants are likely to make a significant difference to the work.

To offer bursaries at 6th form level for those students who attend a 'City' school or whose parents have lived or worked within the City of London for a minimum of 5 years. To offer grants to students (age 11-16) of single parent families, also with the 'City' qualification. The 'City' is the 'square mile' almost all postcodes EC3, EC4 and a small area of EC1, EC2 - not Greater London.

To provide education and entertainment for members of the general public by giving a wide range of affordable, concessionary theatrical performances and concerts of music, drama and dance in the Nottingham area. To improve on performing or back stage skills for both amateur and professional members. Where possible to provide funds, time and performances to help charities.

THE TRUST MAKES GRANTS TO: 1) ORGANISATIONS SEEKING TO FILL ACADEMIC EDUCATIONAL GAPS.2) INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EITHER WITHIN SIGHT OF THE END OF SELF-FINANCED DEGREE OR HIGHER EDUCATION COURSE AND WHO ARE FACING UNEXPECTED FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES OR (B) REQUIRED, AS PART OF A UNIVERSITY COURSE , TO STUDY ABROAD. 3)EXPEDITIONS PROPOSING TO CARRY OUT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
