Merthyr and the Valleys Mind are a local charity affiliated to National Mind. We provide a range of quality services to adults who experience mental or emotional distress. The services include community and hospital advocacy, resource centres that provide dropin facilities, counselling, training and a range of groups e.g. depression, self-help, gardening, relaxation, IT and music.

Emmaus Greenwich provides a home and work for formerly-homeless men and women (our Companions). To help fund our community and to give our companions meaningful work, we collect and sell second-hand furniture, clothes etc and sell them in our shops in London. Our goal is to help homeless people regain their self-respect and help them move on to independent living.

To provide information, advice, assistance and representation to anyone on a range of issues, including welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment, relationship, consumer and legal. To exert a responsible influence on the development of policies locally and nationally.

Providing Support, Guidance & Information to any survivors of Rape, Child Sexual Abuse & Sexual Assault through a Helpline, Counselling & Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Services (ISVA), incl services for Children, Young People & Adults in Dorset. On becoming a CIO in 2019 we changed our name from Dorset Rape Crisis Support Centre (900350): 2018 marked our 30th year of working in this field.

THE ADPH seeks to improve and protect the health of the population through collating and presenting the views of Directors of Public Health (DsPH); advising on public health policy and legislation at a local, regional, national and international level; facilitating a support network for DsPH; and providing opportunities for DsPH to develop professional practice.

When operational, the Foundation will make grants towards projects and individuals/organisations which match the criteria set out in the charitable objects of the approved Articles of Association.
