Women in Sportis dedicated to improving and promoting opportunities for women and girls in sport and physical activity - in all roles and at all levels - through advocacy, information, education, research and training. We campaign for change at all levels of sport through raising awareness and influencing policy.

The charity runs the Rio Cinema - an independent cinema with a unique policy of community access and local involvement. The cinema presents a mix of main feature films, programmes for children and the elderly, rep shows, special events and festivals. The Rio also conducts a wide range of educational initiatives for children and young people.

Promoting public safety in Central and Eastern Europe by: reducing road deaths and injuries; improving road safety governance; improving enforcement; ensuring safe road design; influencing road user behaviour; promoting sustainable transport policies; improving driver training; building capacity for national road safety campaigning and education; facilitating regional and cross-border initiatives.

This charity's aims are the education of the public in archaeology. This is done through undertaking archaeological and historical research and fieldwork projects where there are threats to the surviving evidence. The results and information are desseminated through leaflets, academic publications, interpretation panels, lectures, a web site and specifically targetted outreach projects.

To raise funds in support of the educational, research, clinical and animal welfare activities of the Royal Veterinary College. Funds are raised using a variety of methods, from members of the public, College Alumni, grant-making trusts, companies and other voluntary sources.

We provide a range of services to older people and influencing activities including: Advice & Information - both office based and outreach, Healthy Lifestyle activities including exercise and IT, Footcare service, Day Care, Befriending & Phonelink service. Dementia Matters provides support services to people with dementia and other degenerative neurological disorders and their carers. The charity provides a home care and support service in the community, independent supported living houses, day centres, residential respite care, training, advice and information and advocacy.

The Helvellyn Foundation is an independent grant-making foundation that is funded by the Holmes family. It provides grants to organisations that contribute to its vision of a world where nature is thriving and everyone cares for it. The CAP is a day centre for homeless and vulnerable adults based in Sheffield City Centre. Services provided are(showers, free telephone, free breakfasts, subsidised lunches, access to health care professionals, education, football, sewing, literacy & numeracy, internet access,advice & guidance session, signposting and working alongside other agencies) Also offered are a variety of activities.

IN THE COMMUNITY WE PROVIDE HOME FROM HOSPITAL, BEFREINDING, A REMINISCENCE SERVICE AND TRANSPORT. WE HAVE THREE FUND-RAISING CHARITY SHOPS LOCATED IN EASTBOURNE.

ATLEU provides legal representation to victims of trafficking, labour exploitation and other human rights abuses; conducts strategic litigation and policy and campaigning work to bring about change in law and policy; and works to build capacity in legal and support organisation through the provision of training, resources and second tier advice.
