Makes grants to other charities primarily involved in community and social matters.

The objectives of the RI are for the advancement of the aesthetic education of the public by the promotion of the fine arts and in particular the art of painting in watercolours. (These objectives are mainly realised through an annual exhibition. This year was the 209th and held at the Mall Galleries, London).

Education/training young people. Making grants to individuals

Makes grants to the Romford United Reformed Church.

Every Scout District is an autonomous organisation holding its own property and equipment and admitting people to membership of the Scout District subject to the Policy and Rules of The Scout Association. The District exists to support the District Commissioner in meeting the responsibilities of his/her appointment and to provide support for Scout Groups and Explorer Scout Units in the District.

Grants to sick and elderly priests

To make grants to any charitable institution or body (whether incorporated or unincorporated) established for the relief of aged persons to be applied by such institution or body either for its general purposes or for some specific charitable purpose for the relief of aged persons. Appeals are to be made in writing for the Trustees' consideration

To provide funds for the relief and benefit of Freemasons their wives, widows and dependants who are in distressed circumstances.

Gives grants to people and projects in North Wales

To help those people who misuse alcohol and/or drugs and the friends, relatives and partners affected by someone else's substance misuse through the providision of assessment, advice information, one to one counselling and group support. To improve public education by encouraging early recognition and prevention of alcohol and drug related harm.

Make grants to other charitable bodies.

The provision of sheltered accommodation for female pensioners, the payment of pensions and the payment of grants to the Ministers of certain nominated nonconformist chapels.Additionally through designated funds the payment of educational grants and grants to specified disadvantaged people all within Sheffield.

Provision of grants to institutions to assist Jewish religious education and for general charitable purposes including relief of poverty.

Makes grants towards the performance and promotion of the music of Frederick Delius. Also makes grants to organisations with a general remit to promote the music of British composers born from 1860 onwards.

Activities to relieve suffering, distress & poverty via ourselves & other outlets. Help to RBC Ministries/Gt. Nth. Air Ambulance/Unicef/Barnabus Fund & Various other Charities plus Disaster requests.Human resources & Church space (disability ok!) available to community for advocacy, advice & leisure. Church Services:- general, weekly Am; 1st Pm monthly at nearby sheltered housing complex.

To provide/assist in the provision of resources & facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation/leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstancesTo advance the education of the public generally on reuse of scrap and waste materials for environmental protection

The principal activity is the publication of the Journal. Our policy is to publish research into the cause, diagnosis and cure of disease in man. Any profits from such publication are used to promote research in this field.

General Charitable Purposes, making grants to local organisations.

To offer pensions to those of state pension age, there may be exceptions slightly below that age, who have lived or worked within the City of London for a minimum of 5 years. To offer grants to charities in the City of London, or with a connection to the City of London. The 'City' is the 'square mile', almost all EC3, EC4, small area of EC1, EC2 - not Greater London.

The Charity makes grants, principally in support of bee keeping, candlemaking, the modern wax industry, and various City of London related charities.

Families in Care provides independent Support, Advocacy, Counselling and Mindfulness for birth families involved in Child Protection and Care Proceedings.

Awarding grants to Lady Lumley's School Pickering North Yorkshire and to individuals under twenty-five living in the locality for educational purposes and assisting them into employment

The League of Friends helps to support the Newport Cottage Care Centre, Upper Bar, Newport. Shropshire - also finance the xray unit at the care centre with the proceeds of a charity shop in Baddeley Court, Newport.
