Nucleus combats poverty by providing advice and access to social welfare advice through telephone advice, face to face advice and representation.

Wigan Family Welfare offer advocacy and counselling to both adults and children. It provides mental health advocacy, independent mental health advocacy, children's advocacy and supports a self advocacy group for people with Learning Disabilities . The counselling it provides is in a variety of settings from certain Secondary Schools to Sure Start Children's Centres.

Uxbridge United Welfare Trust is a grant giving and almshouse charity based in West London. We award grants to individual residents, smaller charities and community groups in and around Uxbridge. We also have an almshouse building in the centre of uxbridge which houses qualifying senior citizens.

Age Concern Luton provides a wide range of services to meet the different needs of older people and their carers in Luton. This includes home support, gardening service, a visiting scheme, telephone club, home repair scheme, lunch and social clubs, advice and information, enhancing lives scheme, hospital discharge service, advocacy, mental health and dementia drop in sessions.

The Company's objects are to promote any charitable purpose for the public benefit by the advancement of education, the protection and preservation of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress in particular, but without limitation, for the benefit of the community in the Borough of Wigan and surrounding areas.

We raise funds, run a hospital shop and radio station (Hospital Radio Barnet) in support of Barnet Hospital, purchasing requested equipment and comforts items for patients and staff.

The charity provides nursery care and hire of facilities that advance public education by mounting lectures, exhibitions, conferences.

Making a difference to the lives of poeple and communities in and around Lincoln by running projects through funding.such as feeding the homeless, debt advice and debt management, food parcels for those in need, providing sport and creative actibities for disadvantaged young people, and many more projects as above.

THE CHARITY RUNS A DAY SCHOOL WITH THREE DEPARTMENTS FOR NURSERY, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION, THE CHARITY IS ALSO MAKES GRANTS FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.

Our charity makes grants as the trustees see fit, in particular but not limited to the relief of financial hardship among people in Central and South America and among refugees, asylum seekers and migrant workers, to the promotion of the care of children suffering from cancer in England and Scotland, and to the promotion of the health of people suffering from sarcoma in England and Scotland.
