Retail Trust is the charity for all people working and retired from retail. Its charitable activities are:- a confidential Helpline which provides counselling, legal and debt advice- Charitable Services with access to financial grants;- Wellbeing Programme;- Supported Living and Care Services for retired employees; and- other services such as education.

Promotion of the Christian religion through radio broadcast, magazine publication, online activity and events. Support of all those in need through a Lifeline telephone service. Encouragement and support for the church in the use of new media. Campaigning on single-issues which are of concern to Christians and the church.

We currently run a number of projects including, for example, Giving What We Can (which researches the most cost-effective global poverty charities and educates those who donate to them), 80,000 Hours (which researches and produces educational material about the ethics of career choice, with the object of advancing the education of the public on this subject).

TRAFFIC works to ensure that trade is not a threat to the conservation of nature. TRAFFIC actively monitors and investigates wildlife trade and advocates policy messages to diverse audiences worldwide. TRAFFIC International is the co-ordinating office of the TRAFFIC network with functions that include strategic direction, network operations, programme development and delivery, and communications

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust works to improve and transform the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by investing in research and its application to patients, driving up standards of clinical care in the NHS, providing information, advice and support for people with cystic fibrosis and their families, campaigning and influencing policy and raising awareness in the media and the general public.

The Charity's activities are carried on by individual Sisters acting within parish communities and the wider community. It runs and supports Catholic schools and care homes. The Trustees care for their own Sisters who are retiring from active work. The Charity also makes grants to beneficiaries and assists other charities with similar objects.

NYAS is a socio-legal charity providing advice, advocacy, information and legal advice to children, young people and vulnerable adults. NYAS also provides Independent Visitors who befriend children in care, and we undertake Regulation 44 visits of children homes. Under Rule 16.4 of the Family Proceedings Act we represent children and young people in private law family proceedings.

WE HELP MAKE LIVES HAPPIER, HEALTHIER AND MORE FULFILLED THROUGH A UNIQUE BLEND OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, ADVOCACY, AND SUPPORT. ALL OF OUR WORK GOES TOWARDS HELPING TO GIVE PEOPLE ACCESS TO LIFE-CHANGING OPPORTUNITIES NATIONWIDE THROUGH OUR FOUR OPERATIONS; YMCA TRAINING, YMCA AWARDS, YMCAFIT, AND YMCA CLUB.

The objectives for which the charity was formed are the relief of financial hardship for the public benefit by theprovision of household goods and food products at wholesale prices to people who might otherwise not be able toafford them. In order to achieve the charitable objectives, the charity is operating a low cost shop in North London.

MEI advances the education of the public in the field of mathematics and promotes links between education and industry in mathematics.

The Trust advances the education of the public in archaeology, history and related disciplines associated with the City of York and elsewhere and promotes the preservation and display of collections of archaeological material and carries out research and disseminates the results.This is achieved by running visitor attractions and providing archaeological services.

John Lyon's Charity gives grants to benefit children and young people up to the age of 25 who live in nine boroughs in northwest London. Grants are awarded to registered charities and organisations with automatic charitable status.

The Generation Foundation seeks to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable economic system; one that is aligned with a low-carbon, prosperous, healthy, safe and fair society. TREE AID works with poor families, especially women, in the African drylands to unlock the potential of trees to reduce poverty & protect the environment. We provide education, training, policy & technical advice on tree based development initiatives that support poor communities build incomes, improve their management of & secure access to natural resources, & achieve nutritional security.

The charitable objectives are the advancement of public education through the promotion and support of the art of music, particularly by the promotion and encouragement of orchestral music and the relief of povertyand distress amongst playing members of any symphony orchestra for the time being maintained by the Charity.
