MEI advances the education of the public in the field of mathematics and promotes links between education and industry in mathematics.

The Trust advances the education of the public in archaeology, history and related disciplines associated with the City of York and elsewhere and promotes the preservation and display of collections of archaeological material and carries out research and disseminates the results.This is achieved by running visitor attractions and providing archaeological services.

The London Community Foundation makes a difference to the lives of Londoners by connecting people who need help with those who are willing to give. That's what we do. We are dedicated to improving the lives of London's most disadvantaged. Child poverty, unemployment, isolation, homelessness, domestic violence and gang crime are just some of the issues we are tackling through our grant making.

The charity furthers the education of the public in the art of literature and creativity by the provision and maintenance of a museum and literature centre based on the works of Roald Dahl. Its mission is to inspire in everyone a love of stories and creativity, particularly creative writing, using the Roald Dahl Archive, his stories and life.

John Lyon's Charity gives grants to benefit children and young people up to the age of 25 who live in nine boroughs in northwest London. Grants are awarded to registered charities and organisations with automatic charitable status.

Retail Trust is the charity for all people working and retired from retail. Its charitable activities are:- a confidential Helpline which provides counselling, legal and debt advice- Charitable Services with access to financial grants;- Wellbeing Programme;- Supported Living and Care Services for retired employees; and- other services such as education.

The charity's aims focus on supporting social welfare through promoting efficiency and good practice in local government. Activities include: development and training for public service leaders; influencing public service policy debates based on membership expertise; building the integrity and reputation of public service management; supporting local public service leadership recruitment.

NYAS is a socio-legal charity providing advice, advocacy, information and legal advice to children, young people and vulnerable adults. NYAS also provides Independent Visitors who befriend children in care, and we undertake Regulation 44 visits of children homes. Under Rule 16.4 of the Family Proceedings Act we represent children and young people in private law family proceedings.

The charity promotes religious education and observance within the tenets of Orthodox Judaism and is involved in the relief of poverty. The charity makes grants to organisations and institutions which operate in the charitable fields mentioned above.

The College's mission is to promote excellence in the practice of pathology, and its primary concern is to patients and the public. As indicated in the Royal Charter the aims are to (1) advance the science and practice of pathology (2) further public education in the field of pathology and (3) promote research in pathology and disseminate the results.

SHINE supports educational projects that work primarily with disadvantaged children and young people (4 to 18 years) across the North West, North East and Yorkshire and Humber regions. The objectives for which the charity was formed are the relief of financial hardship for the public benefit by theprovision of household goods and food products at wholesale prices to people who might otherwise not be able toafford them. In order to achieve the charitable objectives, the charity is operating a low cost shop in North London.
