Education of children

The object of the charity is the advancement of education of persons of school age in accordance with the principles of the Christian faith by the provision of a school. The school provides education to boys and girls aged between rising 3 and 18, who mature into confident young men and women ready to take their place in society.

Witton Lodge Community Association owns and manages over 200 homes for social and market rent, including a 40-apartment Independent Living Scheme. Working with the local community and partners, the Association supports local people with jobs and skills, a range of advice services, health and wellbeing initiatives and environmental projects, to help people live healthier lives.

The Charity's activities centre around educational, social and pastoral work in addition to supporting the work of the Sisters overseas in areas of greatest need associated with the under privileged, the vulnerable and the deprived. The principal activity and object is to encourage and promote public interest in the preservation of steam and other railway locomotives and rolling stock of historical importance. The company continues with the restoration of locomotives and rolling stock.
