The charity operates in Birmingham and the West Midlands. It's activities involve furthering the educational, practical and aspirational achievements of young people who traditionally face barriers and challenges in achieving their full potential.

The Charity's objects are (1) that the Federation shall promote, and advance education in, the knowledge and practice of British Folk Songs, Dance, Music and other allied traditional activities in the Midlands area. (2) to encourage research of those activities specified in Clause (1)

Provision of advice and guidance, confidence building and mentoring to assist clients in getting training, volunteering opportunities and jobs. Support groups for lone parents and clients with mental health problems to prepare for employment.Activities with young people as youth clubs, homework clubs, creative activities with NEET young people, leadership courses.

Families for Peace is an award-winning organisation that works holistically in Birmingham to seek peace for families, individuals and communities that have been blighted by violent crime. We provide a coordinated package of services and activities for young people and families to empower and equip them to move away from crime and integrate them back into society.

Little Feet Trust is dedicated to aiding underprivileged children and young people all around the world, to better their quality of life, emphasising on stability, teaching life skills and promoting sustainable development. Along the way, we hope to develop the local communities and environments, provide poverty relief, sustenance and other forms of aid to the people who need it most.

We are running an after school project for young people.Young people from the black African community are benefiting from various activities including tennis table play, pool table, computer game, Nintendo play mentoring, professional advice, and guidance. We help the homeless in Birmingham by providing food, amenities and general advice and support. We serve food to the homeless on a bi weekly basis and provide hot water.

Providing Christmas grants to members widows & support & assistance if and when needed, support to members in times of need or illness.

The charity makes grants of money or gifts in kind to individuals resident in the Erdington Ward of the City of Birmingham, for the relief of poverty.
