Friends of Brookvale Park is a community organization which serves as an umbrella for the many and varied user groups who frequent and utilize the Park facilities. We exist to aid with the maintenance of the Park and to improve the facilities and events on offer within the Park.

Gospel Oak Community Forum arranges services in the area of Hall Green known locally as Gospel Oak that will bring the community together. These services include a community library, book fridge, adult learning classes, coffee mornings.

We are a locally based charity that aims to provide education and information to young people and the general public. We do this by providing presentations on road safety at local schools and events. These sessions often use modern technology such as VR headsets/Simulators to make the sessions interactive. We also provide funding to which allow young people to participate in road safety courses.

Target newsletter aims are: "To promote the care and upbringing of young children in Hall Green and the surrounding areas of Birmingham for the public benefit by the provision of a regular local publication and by holding events to enable parents, carers and children to develop and gain new skills.

The Following activities are undertaken by Youth Lynks:Acting as a resource for young people up to the age of 19, living in Birmingham. Providing advice, assistance and training. Advancing education, relieving unemployment and improving quality of life and wellbeing.

We are a small trust dedicated to transforming the lives of very poor disabled Mexican children who would otherwise only know pain and misery. We do this mainly by providing support, training and equipment to Institutions in Mexico where hundreds of children and young adults are treated and educated. Wherever possible we find highly experienced volunteers to do the training.

The primary objective is to provide financial support to individual members of the 59th Birmingham Company of The Boys' Brigade to enable them to participate in BB activities which they would otherwise find it difficult to afford.

The Charity's current activities are to develop curriculum based support material and training in the journey "towards the compassionate school". It is currently seeking collaborative projects to engage with schools and also to source publications around compassion in education.

The activity of the charitable company is to advance the education of the general public by providing educational resources about the world's religious and spiritual traditions by establishing a museum and centre for learning, by publishing educational materials and by establishing and maintaining channels of communication.

General Charitable Activities

Solicites funds which are then used for the benefit of the pupils of Brays Special School in the City of Birmingham

Provides assistance for people attending Ebrook Centre who have learning difficulties

The Friends of the Golden Lion are a group of volunteers and professionals working towards restoring and reopening the Golden Lion, a 16th Century timber-frame building located in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham.

We raise funds and encourage donations for the extra benefit of autistic children and young people at Uffculme School. We apply to Trusts for grants to support residential holidays (Douglas Turner Trust & Grantham Yorke Trust). Parents also undertake fundraising. In 2018 visits were supported from these grants. We also apply for grants for larger items, e.g. playground equipment."

NJCT organises plaque installations - over 100 to date, celebrating notable individuals and groups from the global Afri-Caribbean community, with accompanying receptions and activities during the year throughout the UK and abroad. The annual NJCT Remembrance Day Parade also takes place on the second Sunday of November, on Windrush Square, South London with UK and international representation.
