Mental Health Day Centre.St Georges provides activities and structure to adults suffering with some form of mental health problem and also a general counselling service .St Georges is open Mon-Friday every week.(Closed on Bank Holidays)

South Manchester Down's Syndrome Support Group is a member led charity. We exist to empower children and young people with Down's syndrome to reach their potential and lead fulfilling lives. We do this directly by facilitating their access to social and educational opportunities and indirectly by helping their family members and carers.

We are a large parish firmly rooted in the Church of England. We have 3 worship centres based in Ramsbottom, Bury, Greater manchester.

The charity works with people with disabilities and uses specialist equipment to enable them to create and make music. The charity also aims to develop technology to help further these aims.

CREATEBOLTON IS A CHRISTIAN CHARITY BASED IN BOLTON. WE USE THE ARTS IN THEIR WIDEST SENSE TO REACH PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES. WE USE A RANGE OF CREATIVE METHODS TO INSPIRE AND CONNECT WITH PEOPLE WHEREVER THEY ARE, TAPPING INTO THEIR CREATIVE GIFTS. WE WORK THROUGH TEAMS OF DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS WITHIN OUR CREATIVE CAFE, WITHIN LOCAL SCHOOLS, WITH LOCAL CHURCHES AND WITH THE COMMUNITY IN GENERAL.

Collect evidence on the experiences of members of the public in relation to social care services, involving the public in a dialogue about health and social care services and encouraging them to participate in activities that inform and influence the commissioning and delivery of care. Provide information, advice and guidance to the public on issues related to health and care.

Advancement of the Christian faith, proclaiming the Christian gospel through word and deed in Manchester and beyond through Sunday and midweek gatherings. Relieving of financial hardship or other economic or social disadvantage.

We aim to maintain Lancashire Boys and Girls Clubs as a direct delivery organisation through the continuance of a comprehensive programme of activities and projects for young people and provide practical support and advice to club staff, members and management committee trustees.

To advance education for the benefit of the poor, the underprivileged and the general public. To relieve financial hardship, distress and suffering among poor people and victims of disaster. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for social welfare, recreation and other leisure.

We conduct Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals & ~ over 100 Public Worship Services.We have Sunday School and 'Mums & ToddlerHouse groups met weekly. Mothers Union met. The Pastoral and Bereavement care teams meet on a regular basis.School assemblies for the Primary school & Academy are held in church.We run a 'Messy church' in the local school.We have weekly Gardening, Art & Craft groups

Grant making charity which makes donations to a wide range of charities and other community organisations which provide charitable benefits for communities within Greater Manchester, in particular, organisations for young people, provision for the sick, the disabled, the elderly and disadvantaged, support for educational initiatives by arts organisations and support for community groups.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Langley and their immediate environs by working together with inhabitants, Local Authorities and voluntary organisations in a common effect to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreational and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

Regular public worship open to all. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons and related groups. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas. Promoting the whole mission of the church through the provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and children groups.

Senior Solutions has been helping older people in Westhoughton and the surrounding districts, since 1997. Through our dedicated team of volunteers and staff, we work to prevent the damaging effects of loneliness and social isolation.

The Charity provides various facilities to the local Islamic community, the main one being the provision of prayers 5 times per day. Other facilities provided include: facilities for weddings, funeral preparations and prayers. The Mosque also provides Islamic education and holds sporting activities for a wide range of children.

To advance the islamic faith in Bolton and the surrounding area for the public benefit.Promote knowledge and mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of different religious faiths in the Shi'a community of Bolton and Manchester.To provide a platform for the Shi'ite community to mainly but not exclusively provide a place of worship, religious education and cultural activities

Working in a wide range of underserved communities to address under representation, we use outdoor activities such as rock climbing, kayaking and mountain biking and environmental projects to engage children, young people, 'at risk' adults and families to support increased health, wellbeing, self-esteem, pro social skills, volunteering and leadership opportunities.

CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE AT RISK OF FAMILY CONFLICT, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR, CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES OR RELATIONSHIP BREAKDOWN, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FAMILY MEDIATION, FAMILY SUPPORT AND GROUP WORK ACTIVITIES.

Greater Manchester Blood Bikes provides an out of hours courier service staffed by unpaid volunteers to NHS hospitals and hospices in the Greater Manchester area transporting Blood, Donor breast milk, samples and other items used for medical or the surgical treatment of patients for Doctors ,Hospitals, Hospices, Laboratories and Chemists free of charge.
