We host weekly rehearsals on Friday nights ,culminating in our annual Gilbert & Sullivan Show. We also host three Club Nights where we perform a G&S Production with the audience providing the chorus parts. We also have two pot pourri nights per annum where anybody can come along and perform whatever they want. We put together a concert, updated annually and performed as requested.

Health and Educational Activities for Older Women in the Bradford District

We provide help, support and friendship to women living with and beyond breast cancer. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the Cancer Support Centre on Smith Lane. Meetings are lively social events with pamper sessions, talks, visits and cosmetic/clothes parties, but always with time to talk. Our big event of the year is the fashion show, when all women models are from the group.

The objects are, for the public benefit:1 to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and the appreciation and enjoyment of music by any means the Trustees see fit, including the provision of rehearsal facilities, the presentation of public concerts and recitals and other musical activities2 to further such exclusively charitable purposes as the Trustees shall think fit.

Our mission is to advance the Christian faith, particularly among marginalized groups, including asylum seekers and refugees. We offer various services through Compassion Church, which include Sunday multi-language Worship, Bible studies with translation service, prayer meetings, and community support.

WWCA offer a counselling service that works towards enhancing the wellbeing of an individual who has varying degrees of mental ill health. To give people who have compromised mental ill health an opportunity to contribute positively in the community. WWCA offers clients a sliding scale of charge to make sure the counselling is affordable to as many people as possible.

Providing people of Ilkley and surrounding area access to high quality, thought provoking and spirit-enhancing art, in particular by facilitating community engagement activities such as workshops, masterclasses, art walks, award projects, exhibitions, curator development and commissioning public art.

Bradford Youth Players run two Performing Arts Youth Clubs from premises in the centre of Bradford. Act1 is for ages 7-11 and Act2 for ages 11-18.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY:DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS ANDOTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL; ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDINGFACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THEEDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

Training the group in all aspects of being a majorette so all members can perform in public at fetes and carnivals, compete individually and as a group in competitions and take twirling badges.

The Pontefract Choral Society aims to make choral music readily accessible to the wider community through live concerts, and to provide the opportunity for local people to develop their musical skills.

Musical ARC is a unique ensemble of physically and sensory disabled and non-disabled musicians, who support disabled artists to be creative and to challenge notions of disability through professional performances and workshops. We create new, innovative and affective music and collaborate with other art forms such as dance, drama and story-telling, performing in various venues and settings.

The Society initiates and supports Village projects relating to Heritage, Environment and Community. It also comments on planning issues, publishes books of local interest, holds 11 meetings each year for education or entertainment & publishes monthly newsletters. It awards grants for projects that will benefit the Village and presents Civic Pride Awards each year to individuals and groups.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for education and training, recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of those for whom the facilities are provided.
