Somali Resource Centre is community based not for profit organisation which provides a wide range of services to assist migrant communities acclimatise to UK environment.We provide training with the aim of breaking down psycho-social barriers and bring equality and diversity alive. We offer practical support to migrants to enable them develop skills and confidence in accessing mainstream services.

The main aim and objective of Fishponds Baptist Church (FBC) is Spiritual Evangelism. At the heart of the Church is its ministry to the membership, congregation, and the wider community at large in order that the messages contained in Scripture are shared and celebrated and the understanding and acceptance that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Saviour grows.

To promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and well-being in the context of a Christian ethos by:-providing professional counselling and related services on an affordable basis;-providing a range of educational and training opportunities in counselling and related areas;-providing other opportunities for personal, psychological and spiritual development.

To provide support to those less fortunate than many in the Bristol area by provision of grants and interest free loans, as well as contact and advice through regular visitation.

Provision of a hostel, with a measure of pastoral care, for overseas students attending universities and colleges in Bristol.

Turnaround Bristol provides drop-in services to meet basic needs and to support beneficiaries to sustain orimprove their accommodation, to benefit from education and training opportunities and to enable them totransition to the next stage of their life, thrive and fulfil their potential. The charity works in partnership with other providers in Bristol.

THE OVERALL OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY ARE TO FUND STAFF WELFARE, INCLUDING TRAINING, AND TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPORT FOR FIRST RESPONDERS GROUPS WITHIN THE COUNTIES OF CORNWALL, DEVON, SOMERSET, DORSET, BRISTOL CITY,WILTSHIRE, GLOUCESTERSHIRE, NORTH SOMERSET.

North Somerset People First promotes and encourages people with a learning disability, difficulty and/or autism to speak up for themselves, empowering them to be in control of their own lives, now and in the future.We facilitate speaking up forums, consultations, provide person centred planning & advocacy, employment & work experience, accessible training programmes & social events & activities.

The purposes of the Church shall be:-(1) the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Bristol and the surrounding neighbourhood; and(2) such other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the Managing Trustees further the work of the Church.

1. Developing and maintaining training, employment and volunteering opportunities for young people. We concentrate on those (semi) excluded from school and those deemed to be young offenders in order to enhance their chances of higher educational attainment and paid employment in the future. 2. Aiding the physical regeneration of the local area in line with environmentally driven objectives.

Provision of accommodation and help for individuals with special needs.

Beloved offers support to women working in massage parlours in Bristol and surrounding areas.Our aim is to offer love, hope, time to talk and support in various ways:We distribute personal attack alarms, safety information, and signpost the women to local organisations such as specialist sexual health clinics, homeless shelters, local drug projects and weekly friendship groups.

South Bristol Advice Services offer free, independent, accessible advice and advocacy service for the South Bristol community.

Promote as a place of historical & contemporary significance in the spiritual & social life of Bristol, the nation & the world. Tell of the Wesleys & their contribution & relevance to thought, belief & action today. Develop a sustainable heritage attraction, educational resource, cultural venue & community facility. Offer opportunities for reflection,challenge & spiritual encounter.

Project MAMA is a peer support service launched in March 2018, offering antenatal, birth and postnatal support to women who are asylum seekers, refugees, and those with irregular immigration status. We believe that every woman has the right to give birth safely, make her own empowered, evidence based choices and receive the support she needs for a positive birth and early parenting experience.

We are a local Christian church offering worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship and service to the local community. We are part of the Vineyard movement of churches.

Bricks supports the collaboration of local communities, creative communities and social enterprises to ensure they have a strong voice in the city of Bristol, together instigating and delivering creative community activities and managing building assets for the long term.

Facilitating a network of accommodation in private houses for adult destitute asylum seekers and refugees.Managing a house where a number of adult destitute asylum seekers and refugees can be provided with accommodation. Supporting the Asylum Seekers Allotment Project.Providing short term hardship grants to destitute asylum seekers and refugees who have no other source of income.

At Kinergy we understand how sexual abuse and rape can affect all areas of a person's life. Kinergy offers a specialist counselling service for survivors of sexual abuse and rape aged 18 years and over.
