The PTFA of Great Abington Primary School exists to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting to provide facilities for education at the school not normally provided by the local authority. We meet every half term to discuss projects which are either fundraising, educational, or recreational in nature.

Monitoring by two reliable part-time Charity Wardens of 19 full time & 14 assoc. av age 91 at home. Daily telephone checks. Visits as required but minimum weekly.Early problem intervention and help provides relief from suffering & better outcomes. Practical help is immediate and frequent according to need, often supplementing other agencies if involved. eg, Hospital discharge early arrangements.

We are a Bible believing Church in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough serving the local communityAside from our regular Church services, we provide a general assistance to those in need.We support several overseas missionaries through member donations & by assisting in the distribution of clothing to these mission fields

To provide a wide range of Scouting Activities to 8 to 18 year olds in Harston and the South Cambs. area

Is currently working with families to support disadvantaged children in higher education and working with local hospitals to provide respite breaks for families with a child suffering with cancer . Based at a farmhouse in NE Suffolk.

The general running of the viillage hall Providing social and sporting needs for everyone living in the village and surronding area

WE ARE A PLAYGROUP FOR CHILDREN AGED 2-3. INCOME COMES FROM FEES AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WE HAVE MANY DIFFERENT FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES INCLUDING :-QUIZ NIGHTS, NEARLY NEW SALES, RAFFLES, CHILDRENS SPONSORED EVENTS

To raise funds throughout the year to donate or otherwise distribute for the benefit of any charitable body or charitable bodies, or for any other charitable purpose, as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit in such exclusively charitable ways as the charity trustees think fit in furtherance of these objects. The charity operates in the East of England and West Yorkshire.

Raises donations from private individuals and corporate sponsors, in order to make grants to conservation and education projects in and around certain national parks in Zambia,Tanzania and other countries.

Fundraising for the school

Income is from fund-raising events either on our own or in conjunction with other charities/non-charities. Examples of the events are Speaker Dinners, Raft races on the River Ouse, Charity Golf Days and Cycle Challenges.We try to get to know a charity before providing funds by asking the charity to provide a speaker and tell about the charity. Mainly providing support for local 'organisations'

We run a Scout Group meeting in our own headquarters. We offering a range of activities for young people aged 6 to 18 developing their skills for life.

To manage, maintain and encourage the use of Abbotsley Village Hall for the benefit of the local community.
