SUPPORT AND FUND ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AT HISTON AND IMPINGTON PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL

THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES OF POWERHOUSE MINISTRIES ARE TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND INTERNATIONALLY TOO AS THE DIRECTORS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS APPEARING IN THE SCHEDULE AND AS WELL IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR BIBLICAL REFLECTIONS FROM THE HISTORIC WORK OF GOD THROUGH CHURCHES IN EAST LONDON.

The purpose of the organisation is to work in partnership with the school to fund additional activities and equipment for the benefit of the children and school. This is achieved primarily through fund raising events which are organised and managed by the PTA.

Scout Group

Providing the teaching of Korean language, art, culture and heritage to the pupils with a Korean ethnic background from nursery to secondary school level and adults with multicultural background. The charity organised various cultural activities such as Korean music, food, art workshops and history lectures in order to promote cultural diversity in Cambridge and the East of England.

We support local good causes in and around the Stamford area, recipients as listed in the accounts.We run three annual events in Stamford to raise funds.Stamford's Big Day OutFireworks Display and BonfireFather Christmas Float collecting door to door.

WORSHIP, TEACHING, PRAYER, FELLOWSHIP, YOUNG PEOPLES ACTIVITIES COMMUNITY OUTREACH SUPPORTING CHRISTIAN MINISTRY ELSEWHERE. THE CHURCH IS BASED ON A LARGE ESTATE ORIGINALLY BUILT AS A LONDON OVERSPILL ESTATE IN HUNTINGDON, CAMBS, AND STARTED IN THE 1960'S TO SEE THE GOSPEL BEING SHARED AND PREACHED. NO CHARGE IS MADE AND ALL ACTIVITIES ARE OPENLY ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC.

Rehearsing and performing a variety of orchestral works across the classical repertoire.

For and towards the charges of the necessary repairs and routine maintenance of the parish church and churchyard.

To provide financial support to students enrolled in institutions of higher education in the cities of Oxford and Cambridge in furtherance of their education and for the public benefit.

Provides activities and functions, owns and runs village hall for the benefit of the residents of Bury, Cambridgeshire

We are a PTA set up to fund raise for Isle of Ely Primary School. The money we raise is used by the school to enrich the children's learning environment, support educational trips, activities and events, and to promote a feeling of community.

The provision of public access defibrillators for the town of Whittlesey and surrounding areas; training and education in the use of defibrillators and CPR; the provision of screening to detect heart abnormalities in young people; advice and assistance to other groups throughout Cambridgeshire and further afield.

Mixed choir of around 80 voices. Normally three or four concerts each year in St Ives including a family Christmas concert. Works from the classical choral repertoire are performed with orchestra and professional soloists. Rehearsals Tuesday evenings. A new work by Tom Randle based on the life of Cromwell was commissioned and performed with students of St Ivo School in March 2023.

Raise funds to enhance the education of pupils at Ely St Johns

To advance the education and wellbeing of Queen Edith Primary School pupils, particularly by engaging in activities which support the school and advance the education of its pupils and providing/assisting in the provision of facilities/items for education at the school (not otherwise provided by statutory funds), and to foster extended relationships between staff, parents and the wider community.
