We are a PTA set up to fund raise for Isle of Ely Primary School. The money we raise is used by the school to enrich the children's learning environment, support educational trips, activities and events, and to promote a feeling of community.

The Suffolk Sinfonia is a symphony orchestra based in Bury St Edmunds providing concerts and musical education to the community.

The provision of public access defibrillators for the town of Whittlesey and surrounding areas; training and education in the use of defibrillators and CPR; the provision of screening to detect heart abnormalities in young people; advice and assistance to other groups throughout Cambridgeshire and further afield.

To manage, maintain and encourage the use of Abbotsley Village Hall for the benefit of the local community.

Fundraising for the school

MANAGEMENT OF THE COTTON HALL GIRTON , TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND RELIGIOUS FACILITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, LIVING WITH IN THE PARISH OF GIRTON

WE ARE AN ENTHUSIASTIC AMATEUR ORCHESTRA BASED IN THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF BURY ST EDMUNDS, SUFFOLK. WE PUT ON THREE PUBLIC CONCERTS A YEAR AND WE ENCOURAGE CONCERT GOERS BY ENSURING OUR CONCERTS ARE AS ACCESSIBLE AS POSSIBLE.

Mixed choir of around 80 voices. Normally three or four concerts each year in St Ives including a family Christmas concert. Works from the classical choral repertoire are performed with orchestra and professional soloists. Rehearsals Tuesday evenings. A new work by Tom Randle based on the life of Cromwell was commissioned and performed with students of St Ivo School in March 2023.

Provide Roller Hockey Training to young people in the local community .

Monthly lectures, 2 annual conferences, publications, visits, displays and small grants with the aim of educating the public and promoting study in the fields of history, archaeology and architectural history, particularly in relation to the county of Cambridgeshire. The Society represents the interests of these fields within the county to bodies like local government and Cambridge University.

To administer funds and manage land for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Tydd St Giles.Subject to payment of management expenses, income shall be applied:(1) For relief in need,(2) For charitable purposes in the parish of Tydd St. Giles, which is the area of benefit,(3) For promoting education of persons in the area of benefit who are in need of financial assistance.

The objectives of Life Tabernacle Church are to advance the Christian faith in accordance with our Statement of Beliefs in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world as the trustees may think fit and to fulfil other such purposes which are connected to charitable work of the Trust

The relief of distress among poor and indigent Freemasons and their dependants.

To raise funds to provide additional goods and services for the pupils of the school

Shelford School PTA organises regular fundraising events for children and parents of the school as well as the wider village community. The aim of these events is to raise money to enable the school to purchase items for the benefit of Shelford school children, which it may not otherwise be able to afford.

Raising money for the purchase of wheelchairs and other necessary equipment for handicapped people resident in the Anglian region

The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall from time to time determine.

Management of Village Hall.

Our project helps and educates young people in the civil parishes of Waterbeach and Landbeach, Cambridgeshire, through their leisure time activities by the employment of Youth Workers, so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.
