Monthly lectures, 2 annual conferences, publications, visits, displays and small grants with the aim of educating the public and promoting study in the fields of history, archaeology and architectural history, particularly in relation to the county of Cambridgeshire. Cambridgeshire Wildlife Care is a charity dedicated to the protection of wildlife in Ely and the surrounding area. We provide free talks to schools, afterschool clubs, community groups and care homes, as well as information, advice and guidance to members of the public via telephone, email, our website and social media. We also provide financial support to local wildlife rescues.

The Suffolk Sinfonia is a symphony orchestra based in Bury St Edmunds providing concerts and musical education to the community.

Our aim is to provide a good quality village hall facility and services at affordable hire rates, for residents and clubs from our local area, for leisure, pleasure, social and educational purposes. To fund this we use the lettings income and hold fund-raising events.We believe this benefits, promotes & enhances good community relations between residents and local, mainly voluntary groups.

Organise and run fund raising actitivies to provide additional equipment and facilities for the school and fund events such as discos and end of year parties for the pupils. The charity has been responsible for organising the school summer fete for a number of years which brings together the whole community.

Trained, uniformed Street Pastors volunteers from local churches staff a refuge cafe and patrol the centre of Cambridge on Saturday nights between 10pm-3am, caring, listening and helping all without judgement or discrimination. Assistance and a listening, pastoral ear are made freely available to all. We freely share our faith and motivations but only if asked.
