Our organisation raises funds through staging a variety of school and community events such as: craft fairs; quiz nights; a summer fete; discos; uniform sales; recycling of textiles and other materials; sponsored events (such as fun run and spellathon); and participation in easyfundraising. We also apply for grants from charitable foundations.

The objects of the society shall be: 1. to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals;

The Turtle Dove is a homing migratory dove kept in captive pairs, very prolific breeders and after laying two eggs, will lay again. The young are fostered by other tamer doves, and the young are released into the wild in late summer. They spend a month in specially constructed release pens, in order to familiarise them with natural food and their wild habitat. They will return every year.

PROVIDES INCOME DISTRIBUTABLE AS TWO-THIRDS TO THE CHURCH ESTATE CHARITY (262154) AND ONE-THIRD TO THE CAUSEWAY ESTATE CHARITY VIA THE PARISH COUNCIL OF COTTENHAM. THE LATTER GOES TOWARDS THE UP KEEP OF THE VILLAGE BURIAL GROUNDS.

Provision of community hall for the inhabitants of Waterbeach and the surrounding area.

The PTA supports Newnham Croft Primary School by providing funding, through fundraising events, for activities and equipment which enrich school provision and /or contribute to the social cohesion of the school and its community.

1. Conduct monthly poojas to enable Hindus or anyone with a interest in Hinduism attend the events in Cambridge. 2. Carryout fundraising activities to raise funds for establishment of Hindu Temple in or around Cambridge with community centre insitu. 3. Celebrate major Hindu festivals in Cambridge. 4. Conduct monthly Vedic Heritage classes for children.

Organise and run fund raising actitivies to provide additional equipment and facilities for the school and fund events such as discos and end of year parties for the pupils. The charity has been responsible for organising the school summer fete for a number of years which brings together the whole community.

Trained, uniformed Street Pastors volunteers from local churches staff a refuge cafe and patrol the centre of Cambridge on Saturday nights between 10pm-3am, caring, listening and helping all without judgement or discrimination. Assistance and a listening, pastoral ear are made freely available to all. We freely share our faith and motivations but only if asked.

Badcock Recreation ground is used by the following teams - football (3), cricket, tennis courts, children's play area and general recreation.The hall is used for numerous activities organised in the village - clubs, concerts, dancing, private hire, theatre group etc.

Singing workshops and community music events for adults and children: Sharing Voices Project ( The Memory Notes - singing group for those with memory loss and their carers, training; Singing For Breathing - singing group for those with chronic lung health problems ); community workshops and events.

Provide facilities for committees, groups, general public, etc, to hire for meetings, conferences, private functions, fund raising events, etc.

The main reason people join the FONV team is to get involved - because we all share one special thing in common: our children. Friends of Nene Valley (FONV) is a charitable organisation formed by parents of Nene Valley Primary School pupils, working together to make our school the best it can be for our children and to raise significant funds to enhance their experience.

We are a small local charity based in Whittlesey, Cambs who support nursing teams providing care to patients from local surgeries by raising money for syringe drivers for our local community.

Raises funds to finance the preservation repair, maintenance, improvement upkeep, beautification and restoration of St Marys Burwell Church and contents.
