The Rectorial Benefice of North Cardiff (also known as the North Cardiff Ministry Area) is a group of four churches in the Church in Wales (Anglican): St Denys (Lisvane), Christ Church (Roath Park), St Isan (Llanishen), St Faith (Llanishen). Our aim is to promote the whole mission of the Church by sharing Jesus Christ with the communities we serve.

The Choir with No Name provides choirs for people who have experienced homelessness. We began with one choir in London and are now expanding to run choirs across the country. Our work is based on the premise that singing is good for you; it makes you happy; and a choir can provide a community that is all too often lacking from the lives of homeless people.

We provide support and services to people with an acquired brain injury, their families and carers in south east Wales.

To benefit the community and in particular the members of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat of Birmingham for the preaching and practising of the Islamic religion, culture and traditions, as interpreted by Al-Dai Al-Mutlaq, for the advancement of education, the relief of need, recreation, hardship and distress in the interests of social welfare so that their conditions of life may be improved.

The Trust works in the former South East Wales Industrial Valleys. It Curently works with Wild Life Trusts, Councils as well as Schools and environmental Bodies such as Groundwork and Natural Resources Wales. Current Activities include the Running of School programes on River habitat and it's importance to the community as well as the important work of improving access to fish over man made weirs

We have been helping people who live with a neurological condition since 1985 providing the therapies and support our members need to maintain their independence and to minimise the effects that neurological conditions like Multiple Sclerosis have on their daily lives. We are also here for their families and carers, building a strong sense of community and understanding.

Lifelong learning, social and recreational opportunities and activities for people with learning and related disabilities.

The promotion of the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelical, social and ecumenical, in the Ministry Area of West Cardiff (including Ely, Fairwater & Canton)

CHURCH SERVICES: SUN. AM; SUN EVENING. MUMS & TOTS MEET ON WED. MORNINGS; WOMEN MEET FRI. MORNINGS & YOUTH THUR. EVENINGS. WE ORGANISE EVENTS FOR STUDENTS, FAMILIES, SENIOR CITIZENS, WOMEN & MEN. MONTHLY EVENTS FOR PRISONERS IN EVERTHORPE, WOLDS & PRISONS. OUR BIBLE COLLEGE RUNS TWO 15 WEEK RESIDENTIAL SEMESTERS PER YEAR. STUDENTS SERVE IN THE COMMUNITY IN VARIOUS WAYS INCLUDING PRISON VISITING.

The Charity's objectives are: to restore, preserve, and protect Insole Court and its gardens for the public benefit; to provide education in its conservation and history; and to benefit the residents of the community by providing community facilities for social welfare and recreation.

The Charity has an area of benefit of Riverside, Canton, & Grangetown districts in Cardiff, from which it draws membership.The Charity's activities are encompassed in the following ways by which it seeks to work with those who live and work in the area:1) foster empowerment of individuals and groups2) ensure access to services & opportunities3) develop strong cross-cultural relationships

Regular public worship open to all, Pastoral work, teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Furthering the vision with activities for parents, toddlers, asylum seekers, vulnerable adults.

Our vision is safe, connected, thriving community. Our projects include: St Mellons Pantry (a community-led project tackling food insecurity); Pantry Garden (wildlife-friendly community food growing space); Wellbeing Workshops with local schools; Friendship & activity groups e.g. Crafty Chats, Diamond Art Club, Stay & Play, Nature Club; St Mellons Mutual Aid Fund; Step Out Scholarship Fund.

To advance the religion of Islam for the benefit of the public by holding congregational 5 daily prayers and Friday prayers and religious lectures. To provide facilities for Islamic education & community activities for childern and adults and pastoral care. The provision of funeral services and congressional funeral prayers for the deceased and their families and the wider community.

Ambassadors Football runs and facilitates football projects that build bridges across cultural, faith, ethnic and postcode divides, providing support, resources and training in order to invest in communities and empower volunteers, trainees, staff and churches to start new initiatives that lead to tangible social change.

Darul Isra Muslim community centre trust provides a range of spiritual and community services that improve the quality of life of beneficiaries visiting or residing in Cardiff. Our activities are divided into the following: Religious Services, Education and Training, Youth development, Social Welfare and Community Cohesion.

The principal activities of Women Connect First during the year continued to be the education, training for employment and relief from poverty and distress of members of the public from the black and ethnic minority and white communities and helping them to fully integrate within British society, whilst promoting equality and diversity.

The relief of poverty amongst families in Afghanistan and Pakistan; in particular but not by way of limitation amongst orphans and widows by provision of material assistance in order to meet their needs for food, water and basic health care and education.The Charity campaigns against poverty, in particular those raising awareness as regards to hardship endured by children and women.

Groundwork supports communities in need, working with partners to help improve the quality of people's lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, work and play. Our vision is of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise prosper.

As Cardiff Central Youth purpose is to provide:? facilities for the local community to participate in amateur sports and leisure activities? amateur sport activities in a safe, clean and supervised environment

To promote participation and break down barriers to community cohesion by delivering services and activities to promote the health, wellbeing, education, employment and partcipation of African and African Carribean people.Our vision is of a society where African and African Caribbean community members are fully included, where their wellbeing is a priority and where justice is promoted.

Deliver innovative and sustainable programmes on sport related themes, health, mental health, social inclusion and education. Use sport to deliver change in the community, harnessing social good, improving and increasing opportunities and empowering people to make positive life choices, irrespective of race, gender, disability, belief, sexual orientation, age or socio-economic background.
