PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATIONThe main focus of activities has been to raise funds to purchase equipment and materials to support the learning of pupils in school. The children have benefited from "wow day" experiences such as skating on an artificial rink and receiving a ?5 subsidy towards a school trip. We have also held activities such as children's discos, story nights and summer fayre.

Income to be used for the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Parish of St. Peter de Merton with St. Cuthbert, Bedford.

Raising awareness amongst young people of the dangers of carrying knives and other weapons by helping theatre companies put on anti-knife plays and workshops in schools and community centres, by using music and performance to promote an anti-knife message, by funding short music-based courses, by supporting debate, research and networking with families who have lost children through knife crime.

The Trust has a policy of supporting the efforts of Rotary International (RI)in the fulfillment of the Object of Rotary. Rotary mission is the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national and international humanitarian, educational and cultural programmes. The Trust also focuses on the needs of the local community through charities, organisations and specific individuals.

Almshouse charity based in Cranfield, Bedfordshire

The village hall is available for hire and is used for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisuretime activities including scouts, youth activities, dances, parties and wedding receptions.

East Beds Concert Band is a community band based in Biggleswade, for players of all ages and abilities. It provides players, particularly the young members, the opportunity to rehearse and perform a wide variety of music, thereby improving their musical skills. The Band performs three concerts a year, in different venues, and by so doing, promotes concert band music within the community.

THE OBJECT OF THE FEDERATION IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.

The association actively engages its 30 members through various activities, including arts and crafts, as well as light exercise classes led by qualified professionals. We prioritize health and well-being within our community and take safeguarding seriously. Our collaboration with medical professionals and local agencies, including the police and fire and rescue services, ensures strong support.

Annual distribution on Maundy Thursday of a small amount of money to elderly people of limited income residing in the old Borough of Dunstable.

Active participation in the community, locally and within The Scout Association. Participation in team and individual sporting activities. Attendance at local church. Discussions on various subjects including site visits. Outdoor activities including camping, sometimes internationally. Group and individual instructions and advice to enable members to gain badges in varied subjects.

The Charity carries out fundraising activities to be able to financially support Potton Schools in various activities, facilities, trips and educational support materials as required.

The Friends of Kingsmoor Lower School Association raises funds to help pay for projects to enhance learning and enjoyment for all pupils.

The Heath Band is a community, non-contesting brass band which provides musical entertainment at concerts and local events. As well as the main band we also have a training band for all ages and abilities.
