Raising funds for Harrold Primary Academy

The Friends of St John's Church raises funds for the fabric and upkeep of the Church building and churchyard. We have a list of about 24 Friends who donate regularly, and hold two or three major fundraising events every year.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF IN POVERTY, SICKNESS OR SUDDEN DESTITUTION PARTICULARLY TO THE ELDERLY TO RESIDENTS OF WRESTLINGWORTH PARISH.

Weekly meetings on Thursdays 7pm-9pm.

To assist in the provision and maintenance of services for St James The Great, Silsoe

24 INNER WHEEL CLUBS MAKE UP DISTRICT 7, WHICH IS PART OF THE ASSOCIATION OF INNER WHEEL CLUBS IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND. THE DISTRICT RAISES FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BOTH AT A CLUB AND DISTRICT LEVEL, BY ORGANISING SOCIAL EVENTS IN AID OF SPECIFIC CHARITIES.

Responsbile for the maintenance of Hetley House building and grounds. This premises is used by the FLITWICK District rainbows, brownies guides and rangers for weekly meetings. Flitwick District is part of Girl Guiding.

The Charity is named to honour Fred Roche who did much to create Milton Keynes. It promotes high quality planning, urban design and landscaping in new urban developments. The Memorial Fund maintains the Fred Roche Gardens, funds awards for local students studying planning and related subjects and holds seminars and lectures to inform the debate about the future growth of Milton Keynes.

To assist in the wefare of past and present R.A.F. personnel and their families

Kelshall Village Hall together with the Church provide the only meeting facilities in the Village. The Hall is regulary let out to Toddler Group, Keep Fit, Musicians, Family Celebrations, Parish Meeting and Fund Raising Events.

To assist in the preservation and renovation of St Mary, Northill by raising money via local community events and grant applications for projects identified by the trustees.

Bedford Lions Club raises money through various fund raising projects throughout the year especially with activities at Christmas, Easter Egg Raffles and a Race Night. In addition we run events during the year and attend outside events with a candy floss machine.

Health and wellbeing broadcaster serving Bedford hospitals and residents in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire.

Fundraising through activities and events to support Wilden VA lower school and enhance the childrens time there.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

2 Main events are Christmas Bazaar and May Fayre with regular smaller events throughout the year. All proceeds go towards funding school activities and equipment.

Raising money to support the purchase of school equipment and activitiesThis year we ran discos at Autumn and Easter terms and we had a sponsored walk in the Autumn. We also ran various lunch time sales for eg. Christmas gifts and hats, Mothers Day gifts, Fathers Day gifts and hot chocolate, sold Sports Day refreshments and held various raffles and a Summer Prize Draw.

Giving concerts to promote interest in the playing of recorders in a large ensemble. To introduce players to the scope of such a group and to entertain and inform the general public.We support a number of trustworthy charities as accepted by the group by giving financial donations. We give demonstations in local schools to educate and encourage young people to play musical instruments.

The Charity plans and runs social, fundraising events for the families and friends of children at St Vincent's Catholic Primary School in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. Funds raised by the Charity are used by the School to provide educational opportunities and resources for the pupils of the School that cannot be funded by the other grants made to the School.

To promote harmony, welfare and unity amongst Brahmins and the local community with a view to social inclusion within Luton and surrounding areas. To promote advancement of education. Relief of poverty, distress and sickness. Advancement of Hinduism and its culture. To promote good relations and understanding with other communities without any distinction of class, caste, race or religion.

We present musical theatre to audiences in south Bedfordshire. We are open to anyone over the age of 18 with an interest in musical theatre. We hold various activities throughout the year to enable us to perform at the professional theatre in Dunstable. We use these activities to subsidise that performance so that cost should not be a barrier to anyone wishing to join in our activities.

Provide, preserve, & protect public rights of way over footpaths and other ways, in particular those in the City & District of St Albans and adjoining areas. Preserve & enhance the beauty of the countryside for the benefit of the public.Advance the education of the general public in matters relating to the foregoing objectives.Write & publish leaflets and walks books.
