WE OFFER CLASSES IN MEDITATION AND BUDDHISM BOTH FOR BUDDHISTS AND NON-BUDDHISTS, IN A WAY THAT IS RELEVANT TO CONTEMPORARY WESTERN LIFE. WE OFFER TRAINING FOR BUDDHIST ORDINATION, FOR THOSE WHO ASK FOR IT, AS WELL AS APPLICATIONS OF THE BUDDHA'S TEACHING TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ALL. THE CENTRE IS OPEN TO ALL. WE WELCOME SCHOOL GROUPS.

We visit those held in Yarl's Wood IRC aiming to affirm human dignity and restore self-esteem by listening and offering befriending support.

Promotes kindness not cruelty to animals. Provides veterinary assistance to pet owners on benefits. Fosters, rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned, unwanted cats and rabbits. Available for animal advice, information, and help to vets, members of the public, social services, and prospective animal adopters.

Thomas Christie Almshouse Charity provides 26 flats, currently housing 29 residents.

Pulloxhill Gymnastics Centre offer High Quality Gymnastics Classes to Young Persons in Bedfordshire and the surrounding area to enhance their lives through the provision of sport. The SVAS exists to advance the education of the public in the science, practice and history of aviation and automotive transport by providing financial support and voluntary labour to maintain in working order the assets of the Richard Ormonde Shuttleworth Rememberance Trust.

We operate across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and are expanding elsewhere. Our primary activity is sourcing and distributing free of charge practical Warm in Winter gift bags and helpful information packs to our recipients.

Grants mainly for the restoration of records or archives of historical societies/bodies or restoration of historic churches - recipients are usually restricted to bodies within or bordering the counties of Bedfordshire Bucks or Oxfordshire and of known interest to the Trustees.

We support children, young people and their families in the counties of Bedfordshire and Luton who are at risk of or experienced exploitation, abuse and are socially excluded.We work closely with appropriate organisations to advocate for children and young people exploited and socially excluded, and to share knowledge and good practice.

Provision of transport for the elderly or disabled who are unable to use a regular bus service because of sickness, disability, age or poverty or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services. Training of other groups drivers for midas certificate.

The objective of the charity is to relieve the suffering and distress of animals in need by:establishing & maintaining rescue homes and other places for sick or ill treated animals, abandoned and unwanted pets; neutering and arranging treatment and if appropriate and on veterinary advice euthanasia; to ultimately arrange for adoption of the animals into caring new homes.

The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.
