To promote the Muslim faith by the following means:- 1) Providing and maintaining places of public worship and the due performance of the rites of burial according to the principles of the Muslim faith. 2) Teaching and educating the members of the Muslim community the practices of the Muslim faith.

The Charity aims to a) provide grants to individuals in Bedford, usually members of the Bunyan Meeting non-conformist Church, b) provide a grant towards the Church ministry,c) maintain the fabric of the church, manse and other investment buildings, d) maintain, operate and publicise the world - renowned John Bunyan Museum and library.

Lewsey Pentecostal Church led by the Church Council; Sunday service; Sunday School, Dedication(Christening), Baptism, Marriages, Funeral, Counselling. Groups (Prayer, Worship, Women's, Men's; Young people, Outreach); Social and Educational events; Mission giving. Membership of AoG UK, Churches Together, Partnership working with Local Govt. Ofsted registered Lewsey Nursery(ages 0 to 5 years).

Community rehabilitation of people who have acquired a brain injury at its day rehabilitation unit "Headway House". Support for carers.

F.U.N. provides services and support to disabled children, young adults and their families living in Luton and Bedfordshire. We run a variety of respite and family services and activities across the year for young people living with any type of disability or additional need, and their family carers.

On a weekly basis we go to Northampton General Hospital, BMI Three Shires- Northampton, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Kettering, Bedford, Luton & Dunstable, Nottingham City Hospital, Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Stoke On Trent, Milton Keynes University Hospital Trust to provide free gifts & support to adult cancer patients in hospital.

Community Voluntary Service (CVS) is a voluntary and community sector support organisation, offering a range of services, enabling local organisations and communities to make a difference.

THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME TRUST TO APPLYTHEM FOR THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS IN UK 1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION OF ISLAM 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATIONOF ISLAM TO MUSLIMS & NON-MUSLIMS 3. OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THEBENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY.

Helping the young, the old, the disabled and the general community in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire . This is done by the awarding of grants to organisations. We do not accept applications for grants from individuals or for the benefit of persons not living in this geographical catchment area.

Living It Up is committed to offering a range of empowering and skill-building services for people who have a learning disability and/or autism. We have a range of services and are continuing to develop services to enable people to have similar opportunities to others, to reduce social isolation and offer further opportunities that enhance life and can develop skills. Chilterns Dog Rescue Society rescues and rehomes dogs who no longer have a home in England & Wales.

Tibbs Dementia Foundation provides services which promote the improved health of people affected by dementia and which provide relief, including care and support, to people with dementia and those who care for them.

To provide a social centre for education and recreation open to all in a friendly, accessible and socially supportive atmosphere.

Running of a Pre school for children aged 2 to 5

The Charity provides practical help and advice to people affected by hearing loss. Our volunteers help people in supported housing with hearing aid maintenance/advice. Our Equipment Service helps with alerting, amplifying and telephone equipment. Hearing Support Services in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Suffolk Hearing Advisory Service, and West Northants pilot support NHS hearing aid users.

The Society serves the religious, social and cultural needs of the local Muslim population living and working in the Lewsey Farm and surrounding areas of Luton in Bedfordshire. It is responsible for the administration of Zakariya Masjid, Dunstable Masjid and Madresa-e-Furqaniah and works with other local organisations and faith groups for improvements to facilities and services in the community.

The granting of donations for charitable purposes

Music24 currently provides music therapy and other music-related activities that benefit health and wellbeing to various groups of people, including but not limited to: people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities and dementia. Our expertise lie within offering community music therapy groups, community choirs, singing cafes and one-to-one music therapy.

Supporting circuit churches in the provision of regular public acts of worship, sacred space (buildings) for prayer and contemplation, pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved.The promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and services, sermons, courses and small groups.Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas financially and with prayer.

Sight Concern Bedfordshire's aim is to enhance the independence of blind and partially sighted people living within Luton and Bedfordshire. To reach out to the whole community to raise awareness about visual impairment and to ensure that everyone who requires information, and or, assistance receives it.

Established in February I994, CARALINE provides a confidential counselling and support service for people with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, OSFED and other eating disorders.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL NEEDS PRIMARILY FOR PEOPLE OVER 50 AND NOT IN FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

THE CHARITY PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THOSE AFFECTED BY ROAD DEATH WHO LIVE IN THE COUNTIES OF BEDFORDSHIRE, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, HERTFORDSHIRE, NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK.
