The charity's activities are to advance the Christian religion by initiating, supporting, organising, maintaining, equipping or assisting any work in connection with the teachings of the Christian gospel as contained in our confession of faith.

Across the calendar year, the Society delivers an eclectic range of lectures and seminars. We offer a focal point for modern, bright ideas, drawing inspiration from a variety of subject areas including the Arts, Science and Technology, and Social Philosophy. We also present a programme specifically aimed at young people, with a view to increasing their interest in and awareness of the world.

The advancement of education through the medium of the King's School in Macclesfield, principally by collection of donations from members of public and awarding bursaries to pupils at the School

The charity promotes the appreciation of the arts among the general public by the display, in the principal rooms at Tabley House, of the Tabley House Collection of paintings, furniture and "objets d'art" on loan to it from the University of Manchester.

Stoke Amateur Theatre Society (SATS) is certainly not just any amateur theatre company. It's a diverse family of friends who truly care for each other and want to see everyone succeed.Thanks to our dedicated team of volunteers we put on spectacular pantomimes, shows, and plays, with an ethos of making the performing arts accessible to all.

Educational and recreational activities aimed at improving the physical, mental and social welfare of people no longer in full time employment in the Alsager and surrounding district.

A one stop shop to support the armed forces community in Warrington and the Cheshire area. This includes all veterans, early service leavers, reservists and their families from all three armed forces.This includes working with appropriate service providers, agencies,organisations and charities that assist military personnel. We also forge close links with NHS trusts in our area.

Christian worship

Rotary is a social and philanthropic organisation operating internationally. Local branches such as Congleton meet regularly socially and also organize various events locally to raise money for various charities. Funds raised are distributed to mainly local charities (approx 70%) & some national and international in response to foreign disaster appeals.

The cultivation and promotion of all branches of medicine and of all related sciences through a comprehensive programme of scientific meetings and seminars which coincide with the academic year.

Provision of facilities for educational and recreational activities to improve the health, and the mental and social welfare of older people.

We meet every Sunday at 10am in Bethany Gospel Hall for our main service.

We are a Male Voice Choir who learn music and song to enable us to sing in concerts to help raise monies for other charities. We have enjoyed singing in Italy, Spain, Austria, France, Germany and Belgium together with venues like Symphony Hall in Birmingham, St George's Chapel in Windsor and the Royal Albert Hall in London.

We provide open youth club facilities for the young people of Frodsham and District.

Objects are to relieve poverty and advance education in the counties of Norfolk, Cheshire and North Shropshire.
