Kingsley and Newton Village Institute is a charitable community building within the rural village of Kingsley in Cheshire. The Institute has a main hall with bar area, snooker room, bowling green and two tennis courts. Various social activities take place on the premises including line dancing, quiz nights, indoor and outdoor bowls, art classes, snooker and private parties.

The charity makes grants to the classes shown in A8c for the benefit of children and young persons in need, hardship or distress for the purposes shown in A8a. Grants are made entirely at the discretion of the trustees. We do not make grants for computer equipment, education, overseas travel or individual holidays.

The Trust provides and maintains gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians often referred to as 'Brethren'. Meetings held at these gospel halls include the Lord's Supper (Communion), Gospel preachings, Bible readings and Bible addresses. There is a structured weekly schedule of meetings which would typically be attended by 30 to 150, people depending on the type of meeting.

The charity provides housing accommodation for beneficiaries who are single men or women aged sixty years or over residing in Malpas or surrounding area for a period of two years or more.

Lions Youth Brass is a volunteer led, non-profit organisation and our purpose is to educate for the public benefit young people in the South Cheshire North Staffordshire area, and to give them the opportunity to learn, play and perform in a brass band environment.

To provide professional and immediate response to search and rescue calls from Staffordshire Emergency Planning Department to assist the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services in order to save lives and render assistance as required in Staffordshire and adjacent counties. To assist and liaise with other voluntary bodies wherever required.

There are no operational activities other than those involved in the operation of the investment portfolio.

The aim of Chester Youth Club is to help educate young people through their leisure time activities to develop their physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.

Two agricultural shows held each year May & August - Weather permitting. Attendance 4,000 plus. May show includes gymkhana, dog show, trade fair plus attractions. August show includes horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, trade fair & attractions. All helping to raise public awareness & interest in local agriculture.No shows held in 2020, 2021 due to Covid 19. No shows 2022 as moved to new showground.

Raising funds for the benefit of the students of The Grange School in Hartford, Cheshire providing monies and resources to support their educational and personal development.

The Charity exists to provide encouragement, mainly in the form of financial grants for young people of Cheshire between the ages of 5 - 25yrs to get involved with crime prevention, community safety or citizenship projects in their communities.
