We are a non profit, foster based small animal rescue. Our aim is to help small animals in need in and around Keighley.

Provides and maintains a village hall for the provision of community activities.

We have commenced a programme of improvement, and making a viable organisation which will provide usable space for many community groups. Externally the MUGA has been resurfaced, cycle racks fitted, external lighting improved and drainage work commenced. Internally the facility now has heating, and the kitchen has been refurbished. The next phase will provide more user-friendly meeting space.

Our passion is to help people less fortunate, youth and the elderly within our community and beyond. We are part of Lions Clubs International and operate around the villages to the East and South of York. Our activities include the organisation of a Summer Charity Concert, an Xmas party for the elderly, Santa's Sleigh, Xmastree recycling and running a Coconut Shy at village fetes plus many more..

i) To promote and encourage the public study of family history, genealogy, heraldry and local history with particular reference to persons living in or associated with the Modern Archdeaconry of York, situated in the historical county of Yorkshireii) To promote the creation of and preservation, security and accessibility of archival material

The Charity is a school account which is run for the benefit of pupils and the school community. It raises a small amount of funds for other charities through sponsored events and other activities.

Fundraising for primary school

The aim of Treasure Chest Breastfeeding York is to advance the health and wellbeing of parents and children in the City of York and its environs by promoting, supporting and providing information about breastfeeding.

The trust endeavours to bring spiritual and material help to those persons in need whom God shall bring forth regardless of race or belief. It aims to support those in prison or hospital, the homeless and those with addiction problems. It works with other agencies and denominations for the concern and care of others.

Main purposes of the WI i. advance the education of women and girls for the public benefit in all areas. ii. promote sustainable development for the public benefitiii. advance health for the public benefitiv. advance citizenship for the public benefit by the promotion of civic responsibility.Achieved through meetings with expert speakers, workshops, conferences, community activity.

Various fundraising activities to raise additional monies for the benefit of all pupils at the school, e.g events include (but not limited to) quiz nights, summer fair, and serving refreshments at school events.

The charity awards scholarships tenable at a university or other education establishment in the UK to a) Kindred of William Akroyd who died in or about 1518 and b) Persons who have attended secondary school in the County of York. It also makes grants to Batley Grammar School Foundation and the Council of the University of Leeds.

Parent Teacher Association to raise funds for the school.

2019 is the 50th Anniversary year of Harrogate Male Voice Choir.We give some 10-12 concerts during the year to raise funds for national and local charities such as the Royal British Legion, the Marie Curie Charity and the Clock Charity at Thirsk. This has also included combining with choirs from all parts of the UK performing at the Royal Albert Hall to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Fulford School fund exists for the provision of advancing education of the pupils of Fulford School by providing or assisting in the provision of facilities for the education of the pupils of the school not provided by the LEA.The school continues to raise funds for towards improving provision and opportunities for students in the school including school trips and charitable fundraising.

We organise and run fundraising activities such as raffles, school discos, fairs, and coffee mornings centred around our school and the village community.

The charity provides and assists in the provision of facilities and equipment for the school not provided by the LEA. Each year a list of priorities for funding is discussed with the school and approved at the charities annual general meeting. All members are regularly updated on funding donated to the school and given an opportunity to offer their views on how the funding is spent.

Youth club activities provided for membership of youing adults (year 11 upwards) both male and female from the local community. The club attracts between 25-30 people per session. Our goal is to give young asults a place to belong whilst being in an interested and productive environment.

York Racial Equality Network provide independent, impartial information and mutual support to individuals who are experiencing racial harassment, victimisation, discrimination or isolation. Aim to promote awareness of the needs of black and minority ethnic people in the York and NY area by developing links with appropriate voluntary, statutory agencies and by encouraging a multi-agency approach.
