Edible York supports public gardens for growing vegetables, fruit and herbs, with produce available for anyone to pick. Each Autumn EY organises Abundance to pick and distribute fruit.The charity holds regular events for anyone as an individual or member of a gardening group, such as talks, workshops and visits.The trustees provide information and mentoring to new gardening groups.

The objectives of the Group are to run the most attractive possible programme in accordance with Scout Association rules and objectives.

Provide and operate a village hall for the use of the residents of Skelton, York

SIX CONCERTS AS IN TRUSTEES REPORT

Operates in the city of York raising awareness and understanding of York's medieval Mystery Plays, raises funds for community performances of the Plays and works with Arts and tourism stakeholders to coordinate and support performances.

The old school Hall is hired out to regular members of the public and is also when available booked out for one offs such as children's birthday parties. Wigginton Parish Council holds its monthly meetings in this hall

Headlands PTA organise fundraising activities to raise monies to enhance the education and experiences of children attending Headlands CP Primary School in York.

RUN TRAINING WEEKENDS AND BI-MONTHLY GATHERINGS TO ENGENDER ENCOURAGEMENT WITHIN THE ANGLICAN CHURCH IN YORK DIOCESE.

The main activity of the Anthony Shaw Collection is to hold thematic displays of contemporary studio ceramics in its new home of York Art Gallery when it re opens in the spring of 2015. Loans are also made to national and international museums/exhibitions. An archive of the Collection is being built on-line and is available to view at www.anthonyshawcollection.org

In the last year we have secured a 30 year lease for Fishergate Postern Tower from the City of York Council. We are now in the process of applying for funding and obtaining statutory consents to carry out repairs to the tower and create more permanent displays for visitor. We continue to open the tower and other areas of York's city walls to the public to promote their use and conservation.

LEAP enables students [14 to 19] to set up their own companies for a year, learning business skills, teamwork and problem solving. The programme helps them gain confidence and skills, which helps them with interviews for jobs and/or University. LEAP is run by volunteers from schools and local businesses.

Carrying out research projects. Organising conferences, fieldtrips and other events for the general public. Publishing books and leaflets relevant to the charity's objects.

The Feoffees apply their income to relieve persons resident in the parish of St Michael Le Belfrey York who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities to reduce the need, hardship and distress. They also apply income by donations to other charities which provide services or facilities for such persons.

Promote research into centres for cures of brain tumours & research into survivorship programmes? Offer support to children/young adults living with the effects of a brain tumour during and after treatment

The Friends of York Cemetery raise funds to support the York Cemetery Trust, volunteers and the running of the Cemetery. Educational days, genealogy, grave searches and walks round the Cemetery are organised covering an array of topics.

The Trust is set up for the advancement of education, religion and other charitable purposes by means such as the promotion of the design and printing, publishing and sale of such books, ebooks, pamphlets and or other forms of literature or display which may advance those objects in a charitable way.

The charity promotes education in history and the arts relating to the City of York. It makes grants or loans to secure the publication of information relating to York's history and promotes public lectures. It holds an essay competition and offers a university history prize. It also offers a schools' project.

The grant of small sums to young people aged roughly between 11 and 18 and disabled people, who wish to develop their sporting and athletic talents and who demonstrate a financial need to the satisfaction of the trustees. The area of benefit is North Yorkshire and the city of York.
