We are a small club in existance for over 15 years which caters for the visually handicapped living in the York area We have at the present time approx 30 members. We are a voluntary association meeting fortnightly for coffee/tea and a social chat and occasionally we have mid-week outings to places of local interest We use our own mini-bus for both activities.

Mainstay works with vulnerable adults who have mental health issues. Mainstay works to raise awareness about mental health issues and provides community hub social support and advice, mentoring, short courses, skills for work, counselling services to enable service users to engage with their community. Mainstay works with people to build stronger communities.

Organise events and activities to raise money for Carr Infant and Junior schools to purchase equipment for use by the children of the schools.

1. Organise courses training people in the Halliwick Concept. 2. Support clubs and other groups who use the Halliwick Concept in teaching swimming to people with disabilities. 3. Organise regional swimming competition for people with disabilities.

Each year the charity makes a substantial grant amounting to all its income to the library of York Minster for the purchase of books on theology and church histroy.

Operates in the city of York raising awareness and understanding of York's medieval Mystery Plays, raises funds for community performances of the Plays and works with Arts and tourism stakeholders to coordinate and support performances.

Wheldrake Youth Club is a traditional youth club offering a valuable resource to the young people of Wheldrake and surrounding areas. Sessions for 11-18 year olds are run twice weekly during term time by a team of experienced youth workers and volunteers.

The object of the fund shall be to advance the education of pupils of Westfield Primary Community School by providing or assisting the provision of education, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Authority.

Monthly themed activity sessions.

The Charity's objects are to preserve and protect for the public benefit the land and building of St Andrew's Old church, Bishopthorpe, North Yorkshire and to facilitate heritage led regeneration and enhance the character and appearance of historic areas.

The trust gives donations to charities local to Leeds, York and surrounding areas, although not exclusively, the trust tends to make donations predominantly to help the prevention and relief of poverty, overseas aid relief and research organisations.

Grants are paid under this Charity to individuals and organisations like schools within the York area.

Hartrigg Oaks is a continuing care retirement community in York. The Hartrigg Oaks Charitable Trust exists to provide financial support to those resident who are unable to meet the fees and to provide additional facilities and equipment for the benefit of residents

To support and promote the advancement of education, training and enterprise in the UK and Africa in ways that make a significant difference to the lives of people of all ages and gender, who are struggling with situations of poverty, deprivation and health issues.To share some of the practical advances of technology of the UK with a developing world as a means of accelerating their growth. .

We provide shelter to abandoned small animals (predominantly rabbits & rodents). Healthy animals are re-homed into a loving environment after receiving veterinary care and rehabilitation. Animals that cannot be re-homed receive sanctuary at Camp Nibble. We aim to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general, and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

The Western Front Association was formed with the aim of furthering interest in the period 1914-1918. It is not a re-enactment society, nor is it commercially motivated. It is entirely non-political. The object of The Association is to educate the public in the history of The Great War with particular reference to the Western Front.

OARFDC has been a registered Charity since July 2006 (Registration Number 1115456). We work to benefit and educate African Refugees, Asylum Seekers and their families mainly from Central Africa. We are the only Refugee Groups in Oxford that address social welfare of refugees through Sports. We are affiliated to Football Association, We support refugees, Asylum seeker to break in sports industry.

We use the funds to enhance the facilities at Bugthorpe Primary School to enable the best education for the children.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, RECREATIONAL AND OTHER CHARITABLE FACILITIES IN AUGMENTATION OF SUCH FACILITIES FINANCED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY. THE FUND MAY UNDERTAKE ACTIVITIES, WHICH PROMOTE THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE SCHOOL AND FURTHER THE EDUCATION AND ADVANCEMENT IN THE LIFE OF THE PUPILS.
