Provide funds for equipment for H M Stanley Eye Unit

To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of young people throughout Colwyn Bay and its environs. To demonstrate, promote and encourage Christian values, including Dignity, Empowerment and Partnership to young people in partnership with local schools, churches and other educational establishments throughout Colwyn Bay and its environs through lunchtime and after school clubs,

Ffurfwyd y cor yn 2004 gyda'r bwriad i berfformio gwaith oratorio yn yr iaith yr ysgrifennwyd a ffurf (gyda gerddorfa). Mae 90 o aelodau ac mae'r berfformiadau yn cael eu gynnal ym mis Rhagfyr ac Ebrill. The choir was formed in 2004 with the aim to perform oratorio works in the original language and intended format (with orchestra). There are 90 members and concerts are in December and April.

PROVISION OF SAILING EXPERIENCE

We continue to hold our Sunday Breaking of Bread services & Bible Addresses & Thursday Bible Classes. We continue to take collections for, & make donations to, various Christadelphian organisations & Local Hospitals. We offer free refreshments to the public during the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza Weekend. We distribute the Glad Tidings Magazine to members of the public & to local libraries.

We provide care and opportunity for children aged 2-4 years old to develop through a variety of activities. Children come to the nursery for two hours, three times a week and are given opportunity to communicate with each other and thrive in order to prepare them for full time education.

Horticultural training for all

CONCERTS ARE GIVEN BY INDIVIDUAL CHOIRS WITHIN THE NORTH WALES FEDERATION IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES WITH THE BENEFIT OF PROMOTING MALE VOICE SINGING FOR ALL AGES WITHIN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. CONCERTS HAVE BEEN HELD RECENTLY AT BOTH BANGOR AND WREXHAM WHEN SMALLER CHOIRS COMBINED TO GIVE CONCERTS TO LARGER AUDIENCES IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES.

North Wales Cave Rescue Organisation provides an underground rescue service for caves and disused mines in North Wales in support of North Wales Police, who initiate all rescue callouts. Our activities include responding to rescue callouts from the Police, training our members and maintaining our equipment.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitats of Rowen and the neighbourhood including use for meetings, lectures, classes, recreation and leisure.

Educational, health, religious and community initiatives are supported, particularly in those local to North Wales. National charities operating in North Wales are also supported.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Provision of grant support for students undertaking higher or further education.

Providing financial assistance to individuals under 25 from Gwynedd and Conwy to improve and perform in their chosen sports. Assistance and funding to help with costs associated with training and competing at events.

To support the activities of the rotary foundation based in the United States of America and providing assistance to groups throughout the world.

Education and support for children and young people through the provision of facilities for mountain and outdoor activities. Provision of facilites for leisure time mountain and outdoor activities for the public at large and particularly those with special needs. The promotion of the conservation of the natural environment through these activities.

A social club for adults with learning disabilities.

We hold 2 main concerts per year and have given donations to local charities.

Affordable housing for elderley people who have been living in the village or have had connection with the village which is in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales

After school club for children of primary school age, after school hours.
