The Cornwall Leukaemia Trust was founded in 1981 to help patients with leukaemia and allied disorders in Cornwall. The Trust has achieved this aim, primarily by supporting the work of the haematology department of the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust and continues to actively support the activities and development of this department and others.

The charities activities include providing support to the statutory emergency services in the Search & Rescue of missing, lost, injured people in any outdoor environment within East Cornwall, and in addition will provide resilience across the country to other Mountain Rescue/Search & Rescue Teams

resource and development agency for puppetry in the South West

Providing a centre for elderly people of Perranporth and District to meet on a daily basis, providing social events, outings, advice and help.

Cotehele Quay Gig Club is situated at Cotehele National Trust in the Tamar Valley. The aim of the charity is to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities to participate in the sport of Cornish Pilot Gig rowing, both recreationally and competitively.

To support Rotary official charities. To react quickly and collect monies for international disasters relief funds. To collect monies and help local communities groups and individual people.

TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES FOR CLUB MEMBERS

Staging of the annual Wadebridge Prime Stock Show and Exhibition of Produce.

To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home craft, country life and related subjects. In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for creation and leisure.

Representatives from Christian Churches come together and plan joint services of unity, events and activities which aim to recognise our Christian unity. Many activities benefit all members of our local communities. CTIPA is a means of sharing each others Christian faith and mission through services, events and social activities.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. and B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

The charity promotes Girlguiding which is a national organisation. Girlguiding Saltash District runs organised guiding activities in units, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers in Saltash, Cornwall. The District owns and manages its Guide Headquarters based in Saltash, Cornwall which is run by a separate management committee.

To advance charitable activities in (but not exclusively) Newquay, Cornwall and surrounding areas, in particular by:1.Making grants to support the improvement, maintenance or provision of public facilities, amenities and open spaces no longer being adequately provided by the relevant statutory authorities.2.To advance appreciation of the arts by the provision of public works of art.

Affording sheltered occupation and accommodation to the formerly homeless within Cornwall.

Childcare and education

We provide the only facility for the community to use, which has various activites during the week as well as a part time Post Office. The hall is also available for groups such as a Craft Club, Scouting, Carpet Bowls and society meetings etc., also for private functions.

Provide companionship, stimulation, activities, entertainment, bingo, speakers, competitions at a weekly meeting in Porthleven. Provide transport to and from weekly meetings, also for visiting restaurants, shopping, and outings for people living in Porthleven or surrounding areas.

COMMUNITY USE

Structured and non-structured play and learning for 2-4 year old children using both indoors and outdoors.

The study, practice and encouragement of brass music in all its forms in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance or otherwise including training and education of brass and percussion players, male or female, from all age groups and backgrounds.

To advance health or save lives by providing a volunteer motorcycle and car transport service and ancillary to transport provided by the statutory authorities. For the transfer of blood, blood products and breast milk for premature or very ill babies, people and other medical resources between donors, hospitals and medical facilities.

To advance education in art and culture in particular, but not exclusively, in the St Just in Penwith area.To promote arts for the benefit of the public generally, and in particular for the inhabitants of St Just in Penwith, by promoting an annual festival of arts and music.

To support social, physical and educational groups and amenities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Redruth and district, by making grants and awards, with the purpose of "Making a Difference in Redruth".
