St Ives Surf Lifesaving Club aims to provide an enjoyable beach environment for club members and the St Ives community through: More people trained in surf lifesaving techniques; Provide opportunities to become involved in a satisfying and worthwhile activity.

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Pendeen and surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth age infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of their social welfare.

Exercising for Mobility's aims are to provide fun and affordable Chair-Based Fitness Sessions for everyone, but especially for people with physical or mental health issues of any kind, and also to provide varied social opportunities for its Members at a time when many elderly people feel lonely and isolated.

The object of the CIO is to promote community participation in health recreation by providing facilities for sailing including windsurfing.

Musical performances and the musical education of children and young people

To provide, maintain and operate a parish hall for the use of inhabitants of Week St Mary and surrounding area including use of property for meetings, lectures,classes, groups, celebrations, or other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.

To educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts and to further develop public appreciation and taste in said arts, through:1. the staging of "live" opera and operetta performances and concerts at various public venues in Cornwall and Devon and 2. an education programme aimed at involving the wider community, by means of school workshops and masterclasses.

To provide an educational resource, showing the marine life associated with Mevagissey.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE NOT IN FULL TIME GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT WHO ARE IN THEIR THIRD AGE (BEING THE PERIOD OF TIME AFTER THE FIRST AGE OF CHILDHOOD INDEPENDENCE AND THE SECOND AGE OF FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT AND/OR PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY) RESIDING IN ST.AUSTELL AND ITS SURROUNDING LOCALITY.

Public worship on Sundays, weekly prayer group and Bible study, chess club, community cafe, charity shop, internet access available, all with intentional Christian outreach in mind. More activities being planned. Please check Facebook page for updated information.

Operation of a Christian bookshop and provision of bookstall facilities at local events.

To preserve and protect human life and property by supplementing and supporting emergency services, statutory bodies and other organisations as deemed appropriate by the trustees, in particular but not exclusively by providing 4x4 vehicles and drivers.

Provision of facilities for regular Christian worship and teaching including facilities for children and young people. The church is run by its members and seeks to add value to the local community together with supporting missionaries.

PORTHTOWAN SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB OPERATES ON THE NORTH CORNISH COAST TRAINING LIFEGUARDS IN THE SKILLS OF SAVING LIVES AT SEA. WE HAVE AN ACTIVE JUNIOR AND NIPPER SECTION, ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTAKE IN OUR PHYSICALLY DEMANDING AND EXCITING SERVICE. OUR SENIOR SECTION INCLUDES OUR SURF BOAT TEAMS WHICH ARE CONSISTENTLY THE BEST IN EUROPE.

Restoration and display of historic sailing vessels for the education of the public

The Lions Club of Looe organises numerous public fundraising activities (such as car boot sales and lotteries), public participation activities (such as Carnival Week, Easter egg hunt and the arrival of Father Christmas) at which funds are also raised and also activities that are purely organised for the benefit and enjoyment of others (such as seniors Chritmas parties).

To preserve or assist in the preservation for the benefit of the public of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park Cornwall as a place of histoical, botanical, horticultural,architectural and natural beauty

To maintain the memorial hall for the use of all the residents of the village and the surrounding area.
