Activities will revolve around collecting data, implementing conservation strategies and surveying expert and public opinion. Activities for all will include participation in different citizen science projects - for example contributing to the reporting of specific genera to help with current recent objectives or the monitoring of biodiversity in a specific area.

At LanSEN together we offer a wide range of activities such as, science groups, art groups, exercise groups, therapy groups and gaming groups. we will also be running film club and silent discos.

We provide communication aids for children and adults who have lost the facility of speech. On average we help 6 individuals per year by purchasing equipment. We raise money ourselves by fundraising in the community as well as receiving charitable donations.

We provide a 'time off' for carers, looking after their dependent in a safe environment; provide a range of varied activities and socialisation for lonely or bereaved ; provide opportunities for volunteers. We offer soup and a roll, refreshments, cake etc for £5. Since Covid we are currently only open between 12.45 and 4.15 on Wed. We hope to resume longer sessions as confidence returns.

Grants are made to children resident in Linkinhorne Parish to assist with the expense of post elementary education.Grants may also be made to improve the health of children attending primary school within Linkinhorne Parish or otherwise promote the education of children in the Parish where expense is an issue.

FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN DEVON, CORNWALL AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS, WHO HAVE SUFFERED BEREAVEMENT BY THE RECENT SUDDEN DEATH OF A CHILD OR SIBLING THROUGH TRAGIC ACCIDENT, PARTICULARLY (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDING TO ASSIST BENEFICIARIES TO RECEIVE BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING OR THERAPY OR TO SUPPORT FAMILY ACTIVITIES.

In practical terms the Rusty Bucket provides non-judgmental support to vulnerable and marginalised adults in Looe, showing them God?s love and offering them the opportunity to re-connect with society via positive engagement.There are no clients, just guests, some of whom have gone onto become genuine friends.Our strap line is "To love, serve and invest in our community"

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

Helping the elderly in the area by cooking meals, social activites and genaral help to the aged

Summer and Xmas fayres, general fund raising and activities for the children at school including discos, easter egg hunts etc

For the purpose of relieving in cases of need persons resident in the Parish of Roche who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm by providing or paying for items, services or facilities which are calculated to alleviate the suffering or assist the recovery of such persons in such cases but are not readily available to them from other sources.

Upkeep and maintenance of a public amenity (Point Quay and Orchard) in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The showing of films and broadcasts of events

for promoting improvement in English Dairy Farming for breeding, management and milk produce of British holstein Cattle, awarded to young people living in Cornwall, Devon Dorset & Somerset for the study of griculture. ?500 was given to the Devon Young Breeders.

Assist in building simple homes for young people in Uganda where parents have been unable to complete homes. Sponsor children by assisting in their education and helping families who are vulnerable and in need due to unfortunate circumstances.

To foster and encourage Amateur Boxing in the Bristol and West Country via Western Counties ABA we organise 3 or 4 Amateur Boxing Tournaments with dinner per year. Funds are raised through ticket sales, raffles and auctions during each event.

Support to the Anglican church in the parish of Kilkhampton

The Callington Memory Cafe exists to provide a welcoming venue for people living with dementia and their carers.We achieve this by meeting every two weeks for 2-3 hours in a suitable location presently the Callington Methodist Church Hall. We provide light refreshments. At every meeting we arrange an activity, from flower arranging to musical entertainers.

Provision of a workshop facility offering activities and social interaction for the community.

Making grants to people or organisations for the purpose of promoting the playing and study of chess in the county of Cornwall.

Promote preservation and protection of the Luxulyan Valley and influence and assist with its management and promote education in its history, natural history and all other aspects of the Luxulyan Valley for all interested parties.

To promote and encourage high standards of achitecture, town planning, and environmental care;to preserve, improve, and develop features of historic interest; to educate and stimulate public interest and to act as a co-ordinating body with other societies having similar aims in the City of Truro and its surroundings.
