The charity objects are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciationof the art and science of music in all its aspects.

Promoting and supporting activity at Jubilee Pool Penzance in accordance with our charitable objects.

The maintenance of part of the land known as Penbeagle as an open space and with free access to the public.

We raise money at local fairs and through fundraising events which we then use to help local families, causes, youth groups and charities. Due to Covid-19 this year we have been unable to complete any fundraising but we are in the process of opening a shop in our local High Street

The object of the charity is to support financially, the scouting movement in Cornwall, to advance the education of, and provide funds to enable itÔÇÖs members to attend worldwide scouting events, and to assist those members in need or hardship to take part in such events

Providing opportunities for disabled people to play powerchair football on either a recreational or competitive basis. Entering teams into national competitions. Providing player, coach and volunteer development to support the objectives of the club.

Village hall is used for council meetings elections, keep fit, W.I., church meetings, committee meeting, coffee mornings.

Working to support projects within the Community of Padstow and District, Cornwall and Lions Clubs International Foundation.

Children's ministry, aged peoples homes ministry, agricultural show witness and counsellingsupport for smaller churches and ministers, teaching and training for Christian workers and correspondence courses for beginners and adults. Overseas aid, supplying literature. Area is Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol, Avon, India, The Philip pines, Thailandand Malawi.

Fundraising for benefit of Holsworthy College- a secondary school in a rural area. Funds are donated for equipment.

We produce an annual end-of-year show, often a pantomime, in Lerryn Memorial Hall. We also put on revues and sometimes plays at the same venue. In each case, the performance, production and backstage work will involve all groups, including all age groups, in the village and surrounding area. If funding can be found, we offer training in production/performance skills to both adults and children.

Organise a programme of lectures on Cornish topics. Maintain a collection of documents, images and artefacts and exhibit these when possible. Respond to queries regarding the history of the town of Newquay and its environs. Maintain a photographic record of changes to the town. Participate in the activities of the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies. Organise social events for members.

We are a small charity with a small amount of money available to suitable good causes within St. Day and the surrounding area.The charitable causes are discussed and chosen at quarterly meetings held by the Trustees throughout the year.

The object of St. Ives Sailing School is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the residents of Cornwall and surrounding regions by the provision of facilities for learning to sail. We apply for funding so that we can train people to sail, in order that they might benefit from the mental and physical health advantages that this activity bestows.

Gwithian Chapel Ltd owns and maintains Gwithian Chapel as a community asset, ensuring it remains open and useful to our community, and saving it from private development . This unique II* listed building, open to the public since 1810, is Cornwall's last thatched Methodist chapel. Ambitious renovation in 2021 created a multi-use, multi-denominational community space - www.thechapelproject.co.uk

The trustees and membership of our club are actively involved in playing and promoting the game of flat green bowls. The facilities are available to participants of all ages, levels and abilities and provides opportunities for recreation and competition.

Saving, recording and handing on Cornish History and Traditions

Volunteer pilots take local elders and care/nursing homes residents out on trishaw cycle rides to feel the wind in their hair. The charity is committed to bringing generations closer together using special trishaws, to foster better community relationships and improve the quality of life of the guests. The charity operates in the towns of Launceston and Tavistock primarily.
