Financial assistance to those in need in the parish of St Neot.

Providing funds to assist in the repair and maintenance of St Breward Church, St Breward, Cornwall.

- Regular beach cleans on the Rame Peninsula- Engaging school children and youth groups to increase awareness of marine litter and pollution - Engaging local artists to create works from litter collected from local beaches and raise awareness of this issue- Hosting talks for the community about topics relating to the marine environment/ pollution/ local marine & coastal interest

Construction of affordable housing for local residents.

Provision of playing fields

Raise funds to provide educational activities eg invite speakers from a range of interests such as photography, bee keeping, local historical sites. Hold an annual harvest auction, where net proceeds are used to subsidise coach trips to places of interest eg lavender farm, Buckfast Abbey etc. Additionally, donations are made to other charitable bodies e.g. cancer research, local food bank etc.

Support Local People and Businesses in need (specifically within the Town of Bodmin, being the area which comprised the former Borough of Bodmin).

To supply medical help to those in need in the community and the medical staff at both Health Centre's

To educate and provide friendship and fellowship to women

To support research activities and purchase equipments for the West of England Eye Unit. To support training and development of ophthalmologists and clinical team members at the West of England Eye Unit. To support local ophthalmic educational events. To support staff welfare in the West of England Eye Unit.

Award money to deserving individuals or organisations providing for individuals in need, in accord with the wishes of the persons who left the monies in trust "for the poor of the Parish".

The group comprises volunteers from the Perranporth area. Aims are:- Conservation of the marine environment inc. the sand dunes;- Engaging with local schools, organisations, businesses and groups to encourage further education on marine conservation; and local community as a whole to help all reconnect with the environment for health and environ.- Monitoring and recording wildlife sightings

To extend understanding of international affairs and tolerance of ideologies, races and religions, primarily through the series of annual lectures

Can make grants to individuals or organisations, for charitable purposes, predominantly of a regional or local nature.

The main focus of our activities is to support the education of children aged 4-11 by financially supplementing activities and equipment as needed. Current fund raising activities include refreshments for the community Black Prince celebrations and Sports Day, Summer and Christmas Fayres and an annual Auction

Fund raising for school trips, enrichment activities and equipment for Portreath School.Types of events held in the past 12 months include Christmas card sales, Bags2school, Christmas Fayre, raffle, Spring Ball.

The original objects of the Trust are set out in a Trust Deed dated 12th July 1898 and provide for use of the Property in perpetuity and solely for the purposes of instruction of Children and Adults in drawing, painting, modelling, designing for architecture manufactures and decoration.

STOKE CLIMSLAND WOMEN'S INSTITUTE is a member of the Cornwall Federation of Women's Institutes, part of the National Federation of Women's Institutes. It seeks to further in our locality the WI's aims of providing opportunities for women to make friends, attend talks, demonstrations and classes, and to promote joint discussion and action over issues of local, national and international importance.

Originally trust was for widows and orphans of the parish of Lanlivery. Now, mostly, to widows/widowers or local to the parish organisations.

Relief of Poverty for the aged

The relief of poor and distressed masons or their widows and children or for the benefit of such masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies and objects as the lodge shall direct.

Providing a secure group of buildings in which young people can attend attend one or more of the following: pre-school group, gymnastics club, karate club, model railway club or dance school. Facilities are fully utilised 7 days a week, with over 400 young people regularly attending from the surrounding area.
