Scouting Programme and Activities

Helps full-time students from any discipline to travel abroad in pursuit of their studies, or for personal development, if they are between the ages of 19 and 25 and are resident (or whose parents/guardians are resident) in the London Borough of Croydon.

WORSHIP OF GOD, EVANGELISM, CONFERENCES, DONATIONS FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES IN EUROPE, AFRICA AND THE CARIBBEAN, MENTORING; GLOBAL MISSIONS, PROVIDING ASSISTANCE FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES IN POOR COUNTRIES; GIVING TRAINING AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES ALL OVER THE WORLD; PIONEERING CHURCHES AND SUPPORTING THEIR MINISTERS IN THE CARIBBEAN IN PARTICULAR AND THE WHOLE WORLD IN GENERAL

We hold public talks on astronomy and related subjects in Central Croydon approximately every two weeks during school term time. We also maintain an observatory located at Kenley, and aim to open this for public outreach each Saturday evening (provided there is a sufficiently dark and clear sky), and also for pre-arranged group visits (eg Scout association) midweek.

To promote the performance and appreciation of church music in the ecclesiastical Parish of St Michael and All Angels, West Croydon.

Outreach activities for children during weekends and holidays; parties, holidays trips, deaf awareness and other training seminars aimed at providing deaf people with social skills and so gain sense of belonging. Opening up a boarding primary school in Malawi providing mainstream education and special apprenticeship training and employment skills for deaf orphaned children.

KASSSI was founded in July 2007, (registered 2010) with the aim of supporting the Health, Social Welfare and Education of children, young people and their families who live in rural communities in Jamaica and are experiencing disadvantages as a result of economic challenges and social isolation and exclusion.

A school PTA dedicated to raising funds to enhance the education, school experience and overall well being of children.

To provide equipment, play items, develop play areas and assist in funding trips and outings for the pupils

Support for children out of school (and their parents), especially support for children who are school phobic, truanting, or who have been permanently excluded from school. Support consists of education advice, behaviour management, tuition and help with future educational placements.

Supports local sporting organisations and individuals

Support running CAP Debt Centre, CAP Job Club, CAP Money Course and CAP Life Skills in South Croydon.

As a Church/Community Organisation we engage in activities that minister to the spiritual man, our first priority. But we also give serious attention to the social, physical, mental,emotional,economical,cultural and political needs via following: welfare and mental health projects, soup kitchen, youth and children programmes,creative arts, older people services, cultural and economical activities

LOCAL GROUP WORKING WITH FAMILIES IN BROAD GREEN, CROYDON. TUESDAY DROP-IN 11AM TO 2PM CLASSES IN ICT, YOGA, DRESS MAKING, KNITTING, MENDHI AND OTHER CRAFTS, ENGLISH AND LITERACY SKILLS AS MANY MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE ENGLISH AS THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE, VISITS TO SEA-SIDE, MUSEUMS AND SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS. SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES WITH EXTRA CLASSES.

Provide advice and support to disadvantaged community members to access government services and career assistance.Promoting the welfare of the Tamil community in several aspects especially in arts and culture in the London Borough of MertonTo enhance community cohesion with in local borough through innovative multi cultural events and workshops.

Raise money to provide additional resources for Harris Primary Academy Benson

To provide and maintain medical equipment and services and to undertake research directly or indirectly essential to support the life of babies in distress at birth for the public benefit including the education, training and support services for staff and patients and others in all matters relating to the health of mothers and babies insofar as they are legally charitable

House Of faith Chapel operate as Christian Religious organisation., we also do counselling sessions, community activities such as preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also organised picnic and offer meals to the communitry.We support the individual who needs financial , emotional support. We meet on every sunday and sharing the word of God and offer prayers for individual .

Raising funds to support the childrens educational needs at Wickham Court school through events such as Summer Fairs etc.

Income from investments which is occasionally paid out to adults with Multiple Sclerosis in the local area.

Activities for Scouts, cubs and beavers

The charity provides grants towards the purchase of musical instruments or the payment for lessons or other educational or training facilities for musicians under the age of 26 years who are living or studying in the London Borough of Croydon, or who have previously attended secondary education in Croydon.

Humanitarian Projects in UK & India

Providing families from disadvantaged background with financial help to start up their own business. Lately, we have been helping families in North and East of Sri Lanka who have been severely affected by the civil war.

Croydon Contacts is a small charity supporting adults with learning disabilities in Croydon to enjoy social activities in their local community. We run various events for members, staffed by volunteers & trustees, supported by carers & families. Events include Board Games; Bowling, Cinema & Lunch clubs; Summer day trips to local museums & parks; visiting local pantomimes & shows.
