THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND BOARDING FOR BOYS AND GIRLS TOGETHER WITH ANCILLIARY EDUCATIONAL AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING A SUMMER SCHOOL FOR LOCAL CHILDREN.

NISCU is a non-denominational organisation committed to Christian ministry and to acting co-operatively with local churches in its work with young people. It acts as a resource for local schools so that the central beliefs of the Christian faith may be communicated to young people in an appropriate way as part of their education. It operates in seven geographical areas.

Childrens full day care for children age 3 months to leaving primary school. We also offer hourly sessions as required. Premises are situated on Mill Lane Beckermet, in purpose built premises and operated by fully qualified staff which also includes opportunities for childcare apprenticeships

We work in partnership with primary schools in the provision of high quality health (including drug) education to their pupils.

We are a grant giving charitable trust which supports local organisations, charities and groups working primarily for and with people with sight loss. Grants are only awarded to those organisations who operate within our beneficial area of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. We do not award grants to individuals.

TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO SUCH CHARITIES AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG CHILDREN, THE CHURCH AND ANIMAL CHARITIES IN THE BLACKPOOL AND MORECAMBE AREAS OF LANCASHIRE AND IN PARTICULAR CERTAIN NAMED CHARITIES SET OUT IN CLAUSE 3 OF THE TRUST DEED DATED 1ST APRIL 2011.

Our activities include: regular public worship open to all, the provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation, pastoral work including visiting the sick and the bereaved, the teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups, taking of religious assemblies in schools. We promote the whole mission of the Church, through the provision of activities for all ages.

Provision of regular public acts of worship, open to members of the church and non members alike. Provision of sacred spaces (buildings) for prayer and contemplation. The teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved.

The organisations objects and principal activities are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education of the public in the art of drama and the other arts and to encourage the development of drama though drama productions and educational workshop programmes.

The objects are to advance the education of the public, particularly in the arts, to the relief of poverty and, to the relief of suffering, including medical research.

Provides 9 units of supported emergency accommodation for homeless individuals.Day Centre facilities for the general public - housing/benefit assistance, clothing/household resources.Charity Shop.

Founded in 1985, Lake District Summer Music (LDSM) has consistently pursued a clear policy of bringing to Cumbria an annual festival and professional summer school of quality and purpose centred principally, but not exclusively, on chamber music.

Transforming the lives of children and vulnerable people in our community through vocational farming activity by - engaging people in purposeful, educational, land-based and horticultural activities on a working organic farm- offering real work; rearing farm animals, growing horticultural produce and cooking nutritious food- connecting people to develop their life skills and capacity

TEACHING OF CHRISTIANITY THROUGH SERMONS, COURSES & SMALL GROUPS. PASTORAL WORKINCLUDING VISITING THE SICK & BEREAVED. TAKING RELIGIOUS ASSEMBLIES IN LOCAL SCHOOLS.PROMOTING THE WHOLE MISSION OF THE CHURCH (& AIDING SOCIAL COHESION) THROUGH ACTIVITIES FOR OLDER PEOPLE, PARENTS AND TODDLERS & OTHER SPECIFIC NEED GROUPS. SUPPORTING OTHER CHARITIES IN THE UK & OVERSEAS FINANCIALLY & WITH PRAYER

Enabling cooperative actions in obtaining contracts covering the whole county, and subsequently cordinating their delivery by some or all of the five separate CA bureaux acting as sub-contractors

The trust is a grant making trust. Grants are commonly in response to appeals in support of welfare for those who are disadvantaged, young, elderly, disabled, as well as maritime and Service causes, education, training and employment opportunities, community benefit, historic buildings, the environment, music and the arts. Grants are made out of income and not normally out of capital.

Provides for the welfare of people with disabilities living in and around Craven, North Yorkshire and assisting them to integrate into society. We operate 8 minibuses with full disability access including wheelchair lifts. We collect them from their homes and take them to Doctors & Hospital appointments, Dentists, Shopping etc.

We provide term time childcare for children aged 3 months to school age, and holiday play scheme for children aged 3 months to 11 years.

Maintain the interests of the regiment and antecedent regiments by providing welfare and benevolence support to serving and retired members of the regiment.

REGULAR PUBLIC WORSHIP OPEN TO ALL. THE PROVISION OF SACRED SPACE FOR PRAYER AND CONTEMPLATION, AND ALSO THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE EVENTS. TEACHING OF CHRISTIANITY. TAKING OF COLLECTIVE WORSHIP IN LOCAL SCHOOLS. PASTORAL VISITS, CARE AND PRAYER SUPPORT.

The charity operates a childrens day nursery in Barrow-In-Furness.

Blue Sky Trust:1. Supports and connects people in the North East and Cumbria at every step of their HIV journey through the provision of one to one support, peer mentoring, peer support, education and events.2. Empowers young people to make safe, healthy relationship choices through creative educational workshops (Think 4 Yourself) in schools and youth settings.

We organise and host charitable fundraising activities including Trampoline Sessions, sports activities, activities for vulnerable people within our community and activities and support children and adults of all abilities, social backgrounds and of any race or creed. Our aim is to support the community in which we are located, but to also support the wider public where possible.
